10:11 needs a better bite into the plastic and wire. Ive got a few jst, dupont and atx pcie, power type crimpers, got the japanese ones and the cheap ones. I have never been able to get the perfect crimp. One day... Good vid, thumbs up.
Yes it certainly isn't the best crimp. There is a smaller die setting I could have used, but it doesn't improve it that much. It does hold in place and does an adequate job for me. Thanks for watching!
Nothing wrong with a budget model for bespoke projects. I rarely use a crimper myself car work at best? I got the common racheting klein one that only cost 25 dollars us ussaly and it does fine. I don't often see people with the knipex or high end ones often. Like rhe demo boards appreciate that thank for making videos.
I have Weidermuller crimpers for my usual electrical work, but they get a lot more use. Ridiculous price though, even if there is a noticeable difference when using them. I am happy to use the lower cost ones for non-routine work if they are available. Thanks for watching. 👍
Entertaining as usual!
Thanks for watching 🙏
