Yes Nux, each Primarch is an aspect of the Emperor. But not only in theme, he made them that way. Each of the 20 were supposed to do one of the things the emperor did so he could go back to working on building a human webway. 20 demigods were required to do his job. And so he hasn't had a day off work in 40,000 years.
Each of the Primarch isan aspect of the Emperor is a maybe at best. There is a theory that on Moloch, the deal Big E made with the Chaos gods is that he will take 20 minor warp entities with him. I mean if he has full control over making the Primarch, he will just make 20 Guilliman and human would have conquered the next galaxy by now
4:55 Fun fact, we actually don't know how long Lion El'Jonson was in these Caliban forests: the people who found him assumed, given his condition and appearance, that he doesn't have any past of a decade in nature, but chronologically, it has been 150 years since the Primarchs were scattered, and the latter did not develop like normal humans (just as they do not age once they become adults).
A few details I recall as a Dark Angel player myself, although I haven't played in a decade. The reason Luthor was sent back to Caliban by the Lion was due to his hesitation in disposing of the bomb. Luthor had briefly considered leaving the bomb on board to kill the Lion due to his envy, but his consciousness won out in the end. The Lion for his part seemed to take this as Luthor suffering mental fatigue from the constant warfare, and basically send him back to Caliban as an excuse to give him time away time from the battlefield, and he trusted him absolutely to take care of Caliban and safeguard it through the Heresy. Keep in mind the Lion is a very stoic individual and didn't really explain his thought process behind this. After the big betrayal, Lion fought Luthor, who was empowered by all the chaos gods in a similar fashion to Horus. He was intended to be their new Champion and during the duel, The Lion had the advantage and was about to strike a killing blow, but hesitated to kill Luthor (like the Emperor did with Horus) and that is when Luthor struck with his psychic attack and badly wounded The Lion (once again, mirroring what happened to the Emperor). Luthor immediately realized afterwards that the reason he was able to land the attack is because Lion El Johnson, the "no mercy" justice guy, hesitated to kill him and it snapped Luthor out of Chaos' influence due to sheer guilt (unlike Horus). In their rage at losing the influence over a potential second Horus, they threw a warp storm at Caliban which destroyed the world due to it being weakened from the orbital bombardment form the civil war within the Dark Angels. Lion El Johnson disappeared with The Watchers in the Dark, who are mysterious beings that are from Caliban, they hid the Lion so the Dark Angels actually don't know where he is, only Luthor saw them take him away. Luthor is also alive in the modern day, because he retained some of the power he got from being empowered by the Chaos Gods, and until recently, was kept prisoner by the Dark Angels to await judgement from the Lion when he returns. Luthor for his part has gone somewhat mad due to the guilt and refuses to be judged by anyone but the Lion.
At some point Nux you gotta watch Sandman of Terra’s video Lion vs Angron. Holy shit does he make that fight sound so epic and fun to watch for the lion’s return.
I'm not sure which videos you plan on watching for the various Primarchs, but PancreasNoWork has two great videos on Fulgrim and Guilleman (The Emperor's Children and Ultramarine Primarchs) that I can't suggest enough really
You have the best reactions to wh40k, its such a pleasure to watch you react to this extensive universe. The Lion's story is an almost exact parallel too the emperors with their respective farther/son betraying them. So poetic!
The following script is from the short story "Savage Weapons", it is one of my favourite conversations between two Primarch and a good example of why I love the Lion so much. Hope you enjoy! Kurze: "You will never reach Terra in time to defend it brother. The warp will not let you. The Crusade will not let you. I will not let you. Do you think the archives of future generations will look upon you kindly for your absence?" Kurze paused in his diatribe, wiping away a fresh trick of blood. Kurze: "or will the human descendants of this Imperium look to your legend and whisper of doubt? Will they ask why you were not present to defend the throne world and speak likely lies that perhaps the Lion was not as loyal and true as the mighty, perfect, Rogal Dorne? Perhaps the Lion and his Dark Angels waited in the deepest reaches of space, watching, listening and deciding to join the fight only when an obvious victor emerged?" The Night Lord's eyes glinted again with both amusement and sorrow. Kurze: "That is your fate, Lion. That is your future." Lion: "Forgive me, brother". Kurze tilted his head. Kurze: "For what?" Corswain was watching both Primarchs, yet still he never saw what happened. Such was the speed of the Lion's movement. One moment the two brothers were speaking, the Lion's features cast down in contemplation, Kurze's eyes fever bright as he promised an ignoble fate. The next, Kurze's features twisted into a tort, richters of pain, blood rushing between his clenched teeth. The Lion held tight to the grip of his blade, buried to the hilt in his brother's stomach. More than a meter of shining, blood stained steel thrust through the back of Kurze's armor. Lion: "For such a dishonorable blow". The Lion whispered into Kurze's pale bleeding face. Lion: "I do not care who knows the truth now, tomorrow, or in ten thousand years. Loyalty is its own reward."
When it comes to lore videos, I'd like to recommend channel Warrior Tier. He doesn't always make videos about canon content, but mostly it is connected to it, and the atmosphere is just exquisite (I'd especially recommend his video about joining traitor legion, Fulgrim's fall, or video about iron warriors). I'd also recommend Baldermort. He always includes his own fan-story on the side of pretty much every video, but he does make sure to make it clear where the official lore starts. I'd also recommend Arch, but some people can't stand his accent (or his politics) so I'm not sure if I should.
@@ericmacrae6871 Well, he was one of the first so he didn't have much competition at the start. Other than that, he does dive really deep into subjects, and also into subjects that there are few videos about like badab war, vraks, etc. so he does fill a certain niche. But I for one don't understand why so many people hate his politics. Apart from him having a thing for racist jokes, his beliefs could be summed up as conservative liberal. If you look at his interview with The Golden One, a known nationalist, he pretty much disagrees with him on almost everything.

Just a small note for the future. If you're going to use the rememberancer to cover the back stories of the primarchs, than you should know that one of them has a 2 parter. The primarch known as Roboute Guilliman has a part 1 episode known as the "Master of Ultramar" and a part 2 episode called "The Avenging Son".

In the Horus Heresy book “The Descent of Angels” he was sooo loyal to the emperor, that the whole exchange was dealt with off page, and The Lion pledged his loyalty in less than half a page. For context it took 2-2 and a half books for Horus to choose chaos, Half a page for The Lion to be loyal to the emperor.
If you're wondering how Curze was able to hide on the Invincible Reason for so long, keep in mind a Golriana Class battlecruiser is about 60 times the length of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier.
Leman Russ was The Emperor’s Executioner. He’s who you sent when you needed to cut a rebellious planetary governor’s head off. - Lion El Johnson was the Emperor’s Exterminator. He’s who you sent when you needed an entire race of Cthulhus genocided off the galactic map.
The thing about Luthor is that he knew, that he would be the greates knight to ever walk on Caliban and be the greatest figure and hero they all been waiting for. Yet all his great deeds and rediculous basically impossible achivements where simply overshadowed by the Lion next to him with whom no mortal could ever wish to seriously compete against, that is why his frustration turned into all that followed
I cant remember who told him, but the emperor was told that whoever he chose as warmaster would end up betraying him. Therefore, he probably would've chosen the lion, but because he valued the lion so much he didn't want him to be corrupted by chaos, and chose horus instead.
I really think Nux would go absolutely nuts reading the books. 16:24 because the perfect antithesis to this doctrine he gives is in the first chapter of the first book Horus Rising. "It was determined that a second embassy would be dispatched. Maloghurst volunteered at once. The commander agreed, but ordered the speartip forwards into assault range. The intent was clear: one hand extended open, in peace, the other held ready as a fist. If the second embassy failed, or was similarly met with violence, then the fist would already be in position to strike." I'm loving that you're enjoying the lore of WH40K as much as you are Nux. It always makes me happy to see the excitement in people when they start to deep dive into something familiar.
Something they didn’t cover in this video was that the Dark Angels were the only Legion given weapons from the Dark Age of Technology which were beyond powerful/Apocolyptic war crimes. The Dark Angels were also sent after the worst threats possible during the Great Crusade before the Heresy. They fought an alien race (the randan or something like that) which severely devastated the Dark Angels numbers but could/would have wiped out any other legion. It was due to these weapons and the danger of the Dark Angels using them that Horus had the Dark Angels sent to the far edges of the galaxy before he started his heresy because he didn’t want to face them. It was when he found out that The Lion was on his way back which forced Horus to have to rush to Terra with what forces he had and try to take the Emperor down quick instead of taking his time and gaining more territory and power. To this date the Dark Angels still have much of these No-No toys sealed in their vaults and armories but don’t use them for the tremendous power they possess.
I mean heck, they had/potentially still have several lobotomized Men of Iron. Just to put into perspective how powerful these things are, during the Heresy the Lion had to fight a Forge World (basically early Dark Mechanicum). Due to the Mechanicum having super tech at their disposal, they were causing real problems like hacking the Dark Angel’s vehicles and weapons. In response to this, the Lion tells his forces to pull back to predetermined defensive positions and then simply said “Unleash the Excindio”. After he gives the order, the Invincible Reason (his Gloriana flagship) simply detaches part of its hull (not a drop pod, a literal chuck of the ship) and drops it onto the surface. This section of the ship was where the Excindio were locked away and it contained 12 of these things. The Lion then proceeded to lead these 12 mechanical abominations against the traitors (who were helpless against such a foe since none of their scrapcode or usual methods worked against the Excindio), and after the dust settled and the planet was conquered, 7/12 were still operational (albeit still beat up, but not completely wrecked).
30:00 remember that Luther was UNAUGMENTED because he like many other of the older crusaders of Caliban were too old to undergo the proper process of becoming a space marine, so they were given a variety of cybernetic enhancements and bare bones biological improvements to let them stand amongst thier fellow Space Marines, despite lacking thier strength, but for the most part they were no stronger than a regular human (much like Lorgars bestie Kor Phaeron). Also Luther wasn't just empowered by chaos magic in general, he was empowered by all 4 of the Chaos Gods, hence why he could stand toe to toe against his Primarch, but then in a cruel twist, the moment he mortally wounded Lion El'Jonson, the gods withdrew thier power from Luther, which is when he finally realises the depths he had fallen to and becomes repentant.
he was augmented but did not recieve geneseed. to say he was just as strong as a regular human is kind of misleading when he was more akin to a one in a million peak human athlete pumped up to the gills with roids. luther was nowhere near as powerful as a spacemarine but he would curbstomp 99% of regular humans in physical ability.
Kairos Fateweaver can see the Past with one Head, and the Future with another. But he is unable to see what is happening in the Present. You could walk up and helicopter twirl on him and he would only know you were there because he glimpsed the future a while back. Kairos is essentially acting from Memory in combat.
While this video is outdated, the new stuff about him I think should be saved for later given he should know context about the current status about the 40k galaxy.
I love Lion. He just pops off the page whenever he shows up in a book and you never really know what you're going to get with him. Just a great character, I'm happy he's back in 40k.
Ohhhhhh yes, the primarchs are so cool. I suggest you do the one for Robute Guilliman by PancreasNoWork next, as he does a great video for them, and Guilliman is the other loyalist primarchs currently in the setting.
I recommend Majorkill’s video on Jaghatai Khan. It was that video that made the Khan my top 3 Primarchs (I haven’t read the books yet, so I can only go off lore videos)
The Lion has returned to the realm of 40k, and there is a lore video going over the book that brought him back. Weshammer went over it well, and now the Lion seeks to bring those who had fallen without knowing, just accepting Luther's command and bringing them back into the old as his Risen
Lion son of the Forest was the first book I've heard anything about listened to the audio book and will be buying the physical copy because was that good.
Yo!!! I just bought son of the forest yesterday and so far it is 🔥!!! I was actually about to get back into it before I saw this posted. It is thought that the emperor and Malcador knew that whoever was named warmaster would turn to chaos, and that's why they didn't give the job to Lionel. Nux has it a bit backward, though. Curze was the embodiment of the Emperors justice but was unique because he was never raised by anyone and never learned the morality to refine his thirst for justice.
The first time I read the book "Luther" I was amazed by it's storytelling. You can really feel how destroyed and warped Luthers mind was and how the stasis made him go a bit insane eventhough he deeply felt remorse for his actions afterwards.
Have to dock lore points from this video. It didn’t bother mentioning Lion’s spat with Leman Russ that led to the Dark Angels and Space Wolves despising each other (kind of critical to what eventually ended up happening to Fenris). Hope he’s saving that for the Russ’ story.
I'm looking forward to you learning about Cypher from the Dark Angels. As to the Space Marine modifications : Back in the 90s, they were 12 year old children (the Rogue Trader days). That's been subtly scrubbed.
@Nuxanor I know you've talked in previous videos about doing D&D Forgotten Realms lore in the future. While I'm extremely hyped for that, you should wait to do it until the Player's Handbook 2024 Edition comes out later this year in September to get that sweet boost in the algorithm.
When next warhammer lore react video i need to hear one every day (im joking but really now- thank you for making so many videos about this- you help making work a lot less boring)
I recon that it wouldn't take you more than 5 videos to get caught up on what's going on in current 40k lore. Two on the return of the lion and guilliman. One on atleast the beginning of the arks of omen you don't necessarily need to go through all of it even though it's really good. and Two on the horus heresy. You'd be pretty much up to date at that point
You should react To the carcaridone chapter (space sharks) There chapter master Has modified dreadnought terminator armor Also known as tyboro's the red wake he is also ONE of the tallest space marines He can look a primark eye to eye
For Primarch lore, I highly recommended "The Amber King" channel. They have very high quality voice acted narrative deep dives on most if not all of the primarchs.
Something not mentioned in this video (may or may not have been brought up by chat, but I don't know) is that the Lion was sometimes known as the Emperor's Executioner. You send any of the other Primarchs to defeat and break an enemy or teach them a lesson they won't soon forget. But you send Lion El'Jonson when you want NONE of that enemy coming back alive.
Still need deeper dive into lion vs konrad That line he says as konrad as he is being told a foresight future of how ppl will doubt the lions loyalty and judge him, so why bother fighting him? The lion simply answering "loyalty is its own reward!" Never fails to give me goosebumps.
If you want to do a not warhammer dive but will explain so much about Warhammer and chaos may I recommend Elric of Melnibone series. Warhammer fantasy started as an Elric fan game, and they too chaos as a force and how it works from Elric as Elric was a champion of chaos in that series

He missed the bit where Luther was sent home in disgrace by the Lion, he was tired of playing second fiddle to the Primarch and contemplated leaving the nuke onboard the Lion's ship, in hopes that he would be killed
Text to speech does dive into a lot of lore including history by Professor Emperor. It is missing recent changes like the mother of the Primearch program, ect. The two best series for introducing 40k I recommend are Ciaphas Cain HERO OF THE IMPERIUM and Gaunt’s Ghosts. Also have a Cain novel or something cheerful on hand when reading other authors cuz lots of them are very dark and depressing. Finally as a pick-me up or reaction material I recommend the animation “Pity the guardsman “ and the recent song inspired by it “The Indomitable Gaurdsman Spirit”.
26:35 wasnt propaganda. The were on Bobby G's homeworld and he had the lion swear not to use orbital munitions, nukes, etc. The Lion gave his word he wouldnt but he did it anyway hiding it with sacrificed drop pods and gunships.
Straight up biggest flexes in warhammer has got to be one of the best ideas I've heard you come up with
At some point Nux you gotta watch Sandman of Terra’s video Lion vs Angron. Holy shit does he make that fight sound so epic and fun to watch for the lion’s return.
I totally forgot that he die that. If I remember correctly Amber King did as well
I'm not sure which videos you plan on watching for the various Primarchs, but PancreasNoWork has two great videos on Fulgrim and Guilleman (The Emperor's Children and Ultramarine Primarchs) that I can't suggest enough really
Yes the remembrancer such an underrated 40k TH-camr this man videos on the primarchs and the legions got me hooked on this franchise.
You have the best reactions to wh40k, its such a pleasure to watch you react to this extensive universe. The Lion's story is an almost exact parallel too the emperors with their respective farther/son betraying them. So poetic!
Someone get this man the Story of the Ork, Tusk Daemon-killa. This man must know the hilarity of the Orks
It is one of the most wholesome stories of 40k
I second this. His mind is going to explode when he understands orks are running on cartoon physics
Do you think the archives of future generations will look upon you kindly for your absence?"
Kurze paused in his diatribe, wiping away a fresh trick of blood.
Kurze: "or will the human descendants of this Imperium look to your legend and whisper of doubt? Will they ask why you were not present to defend the throne world and speak likely lies that perhaps the Lion was not as loyal and true as the mighty, perfect, Rogal Dorne? Perhaps the Lion and his Dark Angels waited in the deepest reaches of space, watching, listening and deciding to join the fight only when an obvious victor emerged?"
The Night Lord's eyes glinted again with both amusement and sorrow.
Kurze: "That is your fate, Lion. That is your future."
Lion: "Forgive me, brother".
Kurze tilted his head.
Kurze: "For what?"
Corswain was watching both Primarchs, yet still he never saw what happened.
I never understood Arch appealed to be honest and yes I can't stand his politics as well
@@ericmacrae6871 Well, he was one of the first so he didn't have much competition at the start.
@@fanta4897 I despise conservatism. Conservatism and fascism always goes hand-in-hand and Arch as shown this multiple time. Even Majorkill made a video that demonstrated how fascist policies. Also for the record I am a Christian libertarian socialist. So for him crying about wokism all the bloody time is just a typical fascist talking because he just wants to be a bigot and cannot stand how things changes.
@@ericmacrae6871 It can go hand in hand, but not always since fascism can have a more socialist and progressive twist too (hell, even in WWII the fascist countries were to some extent concerned with breaking some of the old ways like powerful nobility culture which isn't conservative or traditionalist at all). At any rate, you despise it because it goes hand in hand with fascism or because you're socialist?
@@fanta4897 fascism has no progressive or socialist twist period. Fascism is always about the conservatives establishment maintaining the status quo while crushing the left. I despise fascism because I deal with reality and fascist never want to deal with reality even taught they always cried about personal responsibility. I'm a socialist because I want to deal with reality and I will not let fascist descriminate agaisnt other people because they have their feeling hurt.
In fact, it is always the socialist who has always fought for human rights. While conservatives as always fought agaisnt it because they want to oppress others.
Nux I request you react to the Amber King and his Primarch series, he's the literal G.O.A.T of Primarch/Character specific lore. I recommend either:
Magnus the Red, Primarch of the 15th Legion, the Thousand Sons (Sad, you will cry)
Jaghtai Khan, Primarch of the 5th Legion, the White Scars (Super interesting, you'll love the the philosophical quandary)
Konrad Curze, Primarch of the 8th Legion, the Night Lords (Might give a different view on the Primarchs and Emperor)
I feel like the story arc, philosophical quandries on their mindsets and decesions and just the lore of these Primarchs you'll absolutely love. Enjoy, loving your fall down the rabbit hole
Nux there are orks in the warp who die everyday fighting demons, being revived by khorne who respected them so much he allows them to live in ork heaven fighting for eternity against the strongest demons
"Biggest flexes in Warhammer" man, I can already see a few people trying to steal some feats in that. From the Space Sharks successfully torturing a Drukhari to Trazyn, literally stealing WHOLE BATTLEFIELDS midway through or being a massive troll.
Forgive me, brother.’ Curze tilted his head. ‘For what?’
Corswain was watching both primarchs yet still never saw what happened, such was the speed of the Lion’s movements. One moment the two brothers were speaking - the Lion’s features cast down in contemplation, Curze’s eyes fever-bright as he promised an ignoble fate. The next, Curze’s features twisted into a taut rictus of pain, blood running between his clenched teeth.
The Lion held tight to the grip of his blade, buried to the hilt in his brother’s stomach. More than a metre of shining, bloodstained steel thrust from the back of Curze’s armour. ‘For such a dishonourable blow,’ the Lion whispered into Curze’s pale, bleeding face.
‘I do not care who knows the truth now, tomorrow, or in ten thousand years. Loyalty is its own reward.’
I love that Nux is getting into warhammer it really seems like he genuinely loves it 😊
In the Horus Heresy book “The Descent of Angels” he was sooo loyal to the emperor, that the whole exchange was dealt with off page, and The Lion pledged his loyalty in less than half a page.
Just wait till he learns about the lore/ deep dive into the Adeptus Custodes and the Inquisitors. top tier content
Leman Russ was The Emperor’s Executioner. He’s who you sent when you needed to cut a rebellious planetary governor’s head off.
-
Lion El Johnson was the Emperor’s Exterminator.
Nux I can't wait for you to get to the TTS part about Sanguinius
I really think Nux would go absolutely nuts reading the books. 16:24 because the perfect antithesis to this doctrine he gives is in the first chapter of the first book Horus Rising.
"It was determined that a second embassy would be dispatched. Maloghurst volunteered at once. The commander agreed, but ordered the speartip forwards into assault range. The intent was clear: one hand extended open, in peace, the other held ready as a fist. If the second embassy failed, or was similarly met with violence, then the fist would already be in position to strike."
I'm loving that you're enjoying the lore of WH40K as much as you are Nux.
You can actually use one of them in the Horus Heresy game apparently
@@crimsonknight7011 yep, I’ve kitbashed one. Really expensive (at least 350 points), but thematically awesome.
Wait till Nux learns Curz is actually supposed to be the "aspect" of justice for the Emperor 😂
Conrad Curze is when you have the philosophy of batman and the brutality of the punisher/ghost rider as into one beautiful edgy boy.
@ashendude3394 that doesn't clean his hair or teeth 😂
Kairos Fateweaver's power is a blessing and a curse one head can see the future and the other can see the past, but neither can see the present
Please do ciaphas Cain lore dive
4:28 did i hear "dark age of gabage" like the avatar the last airbender gabage man unluck guy?
Lion El Johnson is a Feral Beast dressed as a Knight
Isyndar and Koda probably have the best primarch videos.
I know them
They are good but I still stand by Amber King. Isyander and Koda are better conversationalists, but for full lore impact Amber King
Thats what I'm thinking
@@darcsteelAmber King hands down, dude crafts a story like he's an ancient Roman artist working with marble
Baldermort with the longest second is the best for vid period
That war hammer lore is on point.. shout out to nux for putting me on to this. I’m hooked
Biggest flexes in 40k, i hope ancient rylanor is amongst it.
SO I REJECT YOU FOR NOW AND FOR ALWAYS, TO STRIKE YOU DOWN I HAVE WAITED FOR A MILLION NIGHTS
"I AM RYLANOR THE ANCIENT OF RITES, I REJECT YOU NOW AND ALWAYS" chills
@@jackbelmont4389 TO STRIKE YOU DOWN I HAVE WAITED FOR A MILLION NIGHTS
I don’t know how you couldn’t include the ancient of rites….
Kairos Fateweaver can see the Past with one Head, and the Future with another. But he is unable to see what is happening in the Present. You could walk up and helicopter twirl on him and he would only know you were there because he glimpsed the future a while back. Kairos is essentially acting from Memory in combat.
You need to see some of the Amber king videos on the primarks
Longest second for Dorn nux!!!!!!!!!!!! Baldermort did thee BEST rogal Dorn vid ever
Highly recommend covering The Last Church. A pre-Imperium short story of the Emperor.
you gotta check out a video about the Lion and Leman's duel. they have easily my favourite dynamic among the primarchs.
While this video is outdated, the new stuff about him I think should be saved for later given he should know context about the current status about the 40k galaxy.
I love Lion. He just pops off the page whenever he shows up in a book and you never really know what you're going to get with him. Just a great character, I'm happy he's back in 40k.
Oh man, I sure do love these deepdives into warhammer lore! Keep at it, mister boss man, please
Ohhhhhh yes, the primarchs are so cool. I suggest you do the one for Robute Guilliman by PancreasNoWork next, as he does a great video for them, and Guilliman is the other loyalist primarchs currently in the setting.
You have to see something from warrior tier, like their trazyn the infinite video or the iron warriors one
I recommend Majorkill’s video on Jaghatai Khan. It was that video that made the Khan my top 3 Primarchs
(I haven’t read the books yet, so I can only go off lore videos)
11:40 if you want to hear about flexes look into trazyn the infinite (=
The Lion has returned to the realm of 40k, and there is a lore video going over the book that brought him back. Weshammer went over it well, and now the Lion seeks to bring those who had fallen without knowing, just accepting Luther's command and bringing them back into the old as his Risen
Lion son of the Forest was the first book I've heard anything about listened to the audio book and will be buying the physical copy because was that good.
Straight away, impressed already by the narrator's voice.
The Remembrancer is a very good 40k lore channel, you really get immersed in the stories.
Curze was the embodiment of the Emperors justice but was unique because he was never raised by anyone and never learned the morality to refine his thirst for justice.
lol, Nux, “Don’t push people away with two hands.” The Lion, after waking up; “ Message received loud and clear!”
Can't wait for you to watch Mistakes of the Emperor and the rant on Lorgar
One day Nux will read about Armageddon and our boy! The absolute GOAT Sebastian Yarrick.
14:12 Godfrey has a lion on his back, all lions are Johnson, Godfrey's spirit animal is Johnson
I can't wait for Nux to witness the conversation between Guilliman and the Emperor 😢
Lord I love that he went with The Remembrancer
One of my favorite Primarchs, for sure. Bro beat sense into his sons with the power of his Johnson alone!
Honestly seeing how much lore 40K and Warhammer in general has. It’s fun in retrospect to see how that makes the setting unique
@Nuxanor I know you've talked in previous videos about doing D&D Forgotten Realms lore in the future. While I'm extremely hyped for that, you should wait to do it until the Player's Handbook 2024 Edition comes out later this year in September to get that sweet boost in the algorithm.
Should do one for each primary and some covering recent events like guile on and lions return
You should react to the 2nd primarch next. Probably one of the most interesting and definitely my favorite.
What have you seen the 11th? That guy is clearly more interesting.
@@compareandcontrast9833 it is a close one
Brooo how has he not watched “the last church” yet! He’d love it!
He beat demon Angron. It's recent, so it's not in the video, but know that.
Its insane how much the lion changed compared to when he started out
When next warhammer lore react video i need to hear one every day (im joking but really now- thank you for making so many videos about this- you help making work a lot less boring)
Whaaaaa is nux going to do the primarchs in order?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WOAH
Loyalty.......is it's.....own reward! - Lionel' Johnson
Still need deeper dive into lion vs konrad
That line he says as konrad as he is being told a foresight future of how ppl will doubt the lions loyalty and judge him, so why bother fighting him? The lion simply answering "loyalty is its own reward!" Never fails to give me goosebumps.
If you want to do a not warhammer dive but will explain so much about Warhammer and chaos may I recommend Elric of Melnibone series. Warhammer fantasy started as an Elric fan game, and they too chaos as a force and how it works from Elric as Elric was a champion of chaos in that series
My dear Nuxalore i wants to thank youz for these lore videos. They will be a perfect source of info to be used by my boyz to fight against your weak imperium of man. Look for my comments in your 40k lore videos, till we meet again.
I always recommend Remembrancer and here we go
if we are going on this 40k rabbit hole, someone should tell nux about the lamenters
Waiting for the day that Nux watchs Lovecraft's powerscaling video "How Powerful Are The Lovecraftian Gods?" from Literary Who.
To quote the words of another great and gifted warrior, "hesitation is defeat."
26:35 wasnt propaganda. The were on Bobby G's homeworld and he had the lion swear not to use orbital munitions, nukes, etc. The Lion gave his word he wouldnt but he did it anyway hiding it with sacrificed drop pods and gunships. When Curze called him out he couldnt lie in front of the Angel and admitted what he had done. That is when the sword was broken
