So, I'm willing to accept that coconut sugar _might_ be better, but only if you can show me why.

Especially, anything with seed oils (palm, corn, soybean & canola) and most anything that's GMO and full of corn syrup. Unfortunately, Costco still sells snacks with trans fats (hydrogenated oils & vegetable shortenings). Trans fats in the U.S. has been illegal since January 1, 2020. Even though I absolutely love Costco, will begin tracking and reporting all trans fat foods that Costco sells to the FDA and filling formal complaints with the hopes that Costco permanently removes these dangerous food items from their shelves. Palm oil especially would hyper-elevate my bad cholesterol (LDL), and destroy much of my good cholesterol (HDL). If people would stop supporting these foods through their purchasing, Costco will pull them off their shelves fast.
