Is it possible to take a candle?

Hi Cholly! I think I've spotted an Angel Dust setup a little earlier than the example you've shown: on the 9th of August, the 10 chart time candle would be the pass candle. Did you also see it? And why do you think it didn't play that well?
On m15 , it didn't come back to the 50ema to give the entry until 4:30am CST which is outside of my acceptable trading hours for London (2am-4am CST). Then it closed the H1 candle as a new break below the setup before NY session started which invalidated the patterrn all together.
I knew what you were going to say before you went there.😅 This is why you should have watched more than 1-2 lCT videos, because you are looking for a London Judas Swing - which is a sweep of the previous day's H/L or a sweep of Asia session before moving. It's not a 1h candle close. Look again and you can clearly see MMs are sweeping the stops with a wick. There is a variation of this where Asia session will perform sweep of PDH/L, not London, but thats for reversals so it shouldn't come up for AngeI Dust. Anyway I remember you once said you didn't believe the markets are controIIed and out to get traders. Maybe its time to reexamine that belief.. because this shiz is systematic.😏
Nice! I love that there are multiple ways to view the market. I actually did end up going back and watching more of his material. Overall, the ICT method just didn't click with how my mind works but I did get one thing confirmed by him that I was starting to realize. And I do believe the markets are heavily controlled in general. Like i don't believe the whole "there is a bunch of buyers so the market is going bullish" as if the traders buy or sell strength determines the direction. I believe it's all planned. What I don't believe is that that they randomly manipulate it to go hit people's stop losses whenever they feel like it. I just think they have their movement mastered to where they know how to induce orders that they already know they will come back to knock out but its all planned ahead of time rather than "winged".
@@chollyp Ahh so that's what you meant! I think what you do is awesome, which is why I have been watching your channel for over a year. Even if we trade different strategies, we're all reading the exact same candlesticks at the end of the day. That thing you do with your pass candle closing above the center point for example, it even exists in my methodology as well, it's a kind of CISD or Change In State of Delivery where the market closes above the body of an old Orderblock/Breaker indicating a change in trend... its like a MSS or Market Structure Shift. Anyway, keep doing your thing! You definitely don't need to change strategy because you already do really similar things... just something for you to chew on.🤘
