No secret spots there Mermaids Pool King's Pool .We camped on the coast for 6 mnths explored the coast from south from Chidenguele to the Limpopo River and north to Tofo and then went home for 3 weeks returned back to Chidenguele for another 6 mnths hardly any lodges back in 1999 caught so many fish shot to many fish Our Vechile was a land drover defender TD5 110 swb pick up 2 tents 300 L blue drum of diesel. Our base was the Maputo 5 wreck she had just run aground and we were trying to salvage her we had to remove 60 tons of diesel off her which we stored in bladders and then decanted into 4 x 300 L blue plastic drums to transport and distribute in villages we sold diesel as far as Tofo in the North and Chongoene in the South and to top it off we where getting paid $200 a day while we were there the cash from the diesel was extra bucks just to keep the operation going buying food and lots of beer

    Great episode
In my opinion the surest way to loose a fish in the shore break is to let someone grab the line with a hand
The forgiving flexibility of the rod is eliminated the waves have to do the work
Greetings from Ramsgate on the south coast

Is that a man made ledge that the fisherman are standing on? I wouldn't tell if that was a concrete breakwater or just natural stone.

Eish so sad ..to loose the youngsters fish thru butter fingers and even abandoning the recording for the viewers ...instead of getting involved in landing the fish for others just let them be and allow the rod to land the fish..very sad to see enthusiastic child loose his fish like that ..I'm sure if it happens to us we will swear the so called nosy brave star
