However, what I see is that the West is trying to use India to counter China. The West would love to see India and China fight against each other destroying each other while they sit back and laugh. If directed in a good direction, African economic rise will be pivotal in bringing down the manufacturing power such as China. I know it is too early to predict anything, but India topping the chart is kind of difficult, simply because others have more resources, in most aspects. China's irrational expansionist policies will either stop (if the current government is overthrown) or they will bring war on multiple fronts. Geo-Politically all the nations in dispute with China over the border should form an alliance like NATO, if China strikes anyone all will come to help. This is probably the only way I see China not getting into war because it will never wage war against 10-15 nations.
