@@pushtirami101 only organic farming and dairy can save earth. Only take the extra milk from cows after they have fed their calves. The byproducts of cattle farming can be used in agriculture with great success. We can do away with chemical fertilizers and pesticides if we adopt the traditional farming methods of ancient India. I'm experimenting all kinds of cow products on plants and getting good results. I have stopped buying fertilizers from market. All natural things come free of cost if we think wisely. Veganism is going to make the cows vulnerable to extinction. They can't survive in the jungle and won't be allowed to roam in villages and cities by the government. Where will they go?

@@sunilgohil1315 making it at home costs you the same as you buy soyabean. Each kg of soya gives a kg of tofu. The only problem lies in making soya milk which involves soaking, grinding, filtering and boiling the soya. Rest is all same as making paneer from milk.
I'm not making tofu just because I don't like the taste of beans. I either buy or make paneer at home.

An idea just soak the kneded atta (divided into small ) in water for 2/3 hours and then you can kned it easily to remove starch .

You need to keep the dough overnight that is better or you can try wheat glutten
Omg. I saw this video just now, even tho it was out 2 years back. 😂 but I guess you need to let the dough rest for a few hours so that gluten develops, and then wash it. When you wash it, the starch is washed off. And since you didn't give time for the gluten to form, you washed off 90% of it. You should try letting it sit over night with yeast and then wash. It might cut down washing time by more than 70% 😅
I don't agree with adding yeast because while fermenting yeast leaves water. It's better to knead the dough vigorously after the flour has absorbed water properly and leave it overnight in the fridge in airtight container. By the morning most gluten network would be formed in the dough. Then wash off the starch and let the gluten rest for a while before you roll them on sticks or process them. Either you simmer in hot water or steam them like momos. Then immerse them in ice cold water. That way the seitan absorbs water and swells up just like real meat. You can marinate the seitan in hung curd and spices and bake them. Then pour molten butter to make it juicy. Top up with sour cream and thick gravy of your choice. The texture will be similar to meat but won't have typical nonveg smell. The marinade and gravy would decide the taste and aroma.

Prasad da... U can try soya chaap it's made wd soyabean n it tastes exactly like non veg. Many recipes are available for soya chaap. It's a good alternative as even I am a vegetarian now after eating NV for many years.
Soya chaap has texture of nonveg but taste and aroma can never be equal to nonveg. If you keep both at the same table in the dark room, i can recognize by its smell.
I am making soya chaap at home once or twice a month using best recipe. They are even better in quality and protein content than store bought ones but it smells of typical soya and refined wheat when raw. After cooking it takes on the flabour of spices we use.
You can try KFC style soya chaap using cornflakes coating. Its best fry i ever had with the feeling of meat (not the smell).
