Living in LA is FREE .My Dad paid 5.500 for a house in 1955 it is now worth 1.1 million dollars if Zillow is right. Wife`s Mom and Dad paid 74 K in Malibu Park in 1974 Zillow says its worth 20 million now . Only problen is the taxes are prop 13 values so can`t afford to move anyway.

Thanks for sharing, Dwayne! Cool insights. Yeah, prop13: blessing and a curse, sometimes--then people don't want to sell, keeping inventory low. Thanks for watching.

Here is a question for you. I just had my offer accepter by the buyer in California. But now I have second thoughts and have not sent the earnest deposit so far. Can I still back out of the deal and face no consequences? I have a general home inspection in the contract.

Hello Lupe, depends on the on exact terms of the contract; but generally speaking if you have an active investigation contingency, you can walk out if pretty much anything was not to your liking (as a result of this investigation right), even if you had given a deposit. The deposit is typically refundable, if canceled within your contract rights. For it to be otherwise, the seller may have to prove that you were not dealing in good faith or had malicious intentions, but this could be very hard to prove. NOT LEGAL ADVICE .

Do reverse osmosis water filtration systems normally come with the $1-3M houses in LA, or do we normally have to bring/buy our own? Thanksss

I would say, not too common. Even if it's like a flip house, most investors would leave that out as there is not much of a return on the expense. Thanks!

@@DaisyChenSorry that you asked this so long ago, but awesome Daniel gave you a great answer! I used to have an RO system. They take out everything, including beneficial minerals and they have a brine line that sends the brine water down the drain. Reverse Osmosis water makers are great in a boat that you are sailing across the Pacific Ocean as then you don’t have to carry a months worth of fresh water.
