    I love a good planty tour so you got a yippee from me when I saw this uploaded. I can't wait for the rest. Considering the winter we've had, and that horrible battle you had with the pesties, you're plants are doing well. My Philos have not enjoyed the lower temps, but they're still growing, albeit slowly; apart from my Ring of Fire which just doesn't stop growing. Regarding the Alocasia Platinum, the leaves will turn more platinum as it grows. On mine the first couple of leaves on the other baby are a lighter green colour but the next ones have started coming in that gorgeous platinum colour, so patience, Emma, patience 🤣See you on the next one 🤗

    I know alocasia can often do the one in one out thing when they need more fertilizer. I’ve heard they are heavy feeders. Otherwise they need to pull those nutrients from the other leaves. But I’ve also heard this happens when they don’t have a large enough root system to support new growth.

    Thanks for sharing your plants and thanks for your time . I have all my houseplants with moss on top of the soils and they love it.

    That silver blush is finally coming into its true form, it's not supposed to be completely washed out. It looks like its doing better 💜

    I think monstera siltepecana does get fenestrations like other monstera. At least, the siltepecana from Sydney Plant Guy did! They aren't very big holes but it does look very cool.

    Hi. I am interested in converting my succulents to Pon. I watched your Cactus Potting Challenge and I’m hoping that you have done an update on how those plants did in Pon. Can’t seem to find an update on that. Thank you!!

    Love your vids! I think the scindapsus in your cabinet is not a platinum as platinum does not show any veins like yours does, it is just full silver like a philo silver sword xx

    I’m guessing you’ve heard this as well but it seems to be confirmed at this point the the PVerde need both light and higher temps to show higher variegation. It will be interesting to see if yours puts out some more highly variegated leaves when the summer temperatures arrive ☀️

      @GoodGrowing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’m tempted to move it closer to the window in hopes of light and heat and more variegation

    Hey my clarinervium did nothing for 5 months until I dressed the top roots with sphagnum (it's in chunky soil ninja semi hydro but I just laid a little sphag on top as roots were showing) and it put out new growth! Might be worth a try for your queen xx also your magnificum forgetii x looks very like my crystallinum with the sparkly veins and leaf shape

    Hi emma! may i ask how you keep your greenhouse in that temperature range? specially during winter in the UK (and with the cost of heating). Do you find that the fans make it colder too? My cabinet is always around 2 degrees colder than my room :(

    • @GoodGrowing
      @GoodGrowing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's so odd that yours is cooler. I think the lights in my cabinet produce a little bit of heat and they're on all day. I don't think the fans lower the temp, more just move around the air which is important. You could always get something like a heat mat to help keep things on the warmer side

    Where did you find your black pvc coated wire mesh on your moss poles please? Or are they grow vertical ones? I can't find the black mesh anywhere at a reasonable price and not in a ridiculous amount. Thanks

    • @GoodGrowing
      @GoodGrowing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah so any of the poles with black coated wire mesh are Grow Vertical Poles. I've recently found the same in dark green though in the UK. I link it in my recent moss pole tutorial video
