Well, it's an interesting scene but I can understand why it got deleted, fear doesn't feel like fear here, also, here you can see that there's clearly a villain, where Inside out 1 gets this thing about not getting a specific villain and that's what makes it different from other movies, better that they deleted this in my opinion
But people sometimes do stupid things when they are afraid.

I'm starting to realize Dinesy makes movies with a mature style from the beginning, but then they start turning them more enjoyable and understandable for kids, It would be nice to see a movie with this concept with a more mature and complex plot.
Kids are still part of their target demographic. They can't be too mature.
I don't find it that much mature. Just more stressful. Agreeing that all emotions are important is a very mature message I think
I can already see why this scene was cut, it underminds Fears purpose in the mind as stated by Joy at the start, "Fear keeps Riley safe." I don't think keeping out the emotion that makes Riley feel safe and happy out of HQ would be something Fear would do as it goes against his very nature.
Fear acted more like you’d expect Anger to here. Not very fearful at all.
I’m glad they scrapped it because it didn’t really make sense that fear would be a villain like this don’t get me wrong it’s a cool idea but that’s all it boils down to because it’s implied that in this conversion joy takes Freddy back in the weird container thing why bring back the guy to headquarters that tried to literally assassinate you. I’m glad they cut this. It just kind of boggles my mind a little too much thankfully, they handled it way better with an anxiety in the sequel.
I hope this is how anxiety is in the second movie

It is kind of cool to see that this scene wasn’t really cut from the film,but it was actually sort of changed an altered in someway through the beginning part of the adventure of the movie. We got to see Reily’s imagination well also near the end of the film,where joy is trying to retrieve sadness.

I guess this Deleted Scene from Inside Out 1 is kinda Spoiler to Inside Out 2 i will surprise if Pixar Reuse this scene in Inside Out 2 but instead Fear, Anxiety Chasing Joy
But that doesn’t explain on how they got out of head quarters.
@@jonathandillon2100 maybe in the first movie fear was the one that got out with Joy instead of Sadness.
but yeah, my guess for the second movie is that with Anxiety they saw what Joy and crew is trying to do and tries everything to stop them, even going as far as getting off the head quarters to stop them, fearing that not succeding it Riley may fall in bigger problems for the future thanks to them.

I actually think this part of the movie kind of got into the movie kind of near the end where Joy realizes the need of sadness she decides to get sadness and return to headquarters with her while using the imaginary boyfriends machine to get back to headquarters.

I feel like the first version of the movie was directly trying to talk about how emotions change growing up, maybe the first version of inside out wasn't planning on having a sequel and that's why they kind of put all of that in one and only one movie

This would have been absolutely amazing! I would guess that it basically built a lot of sympathy for Joy, and would have been very hard to animate. All good reasons not to include it in the finished product. I really need a design for the emotion of sarcasm here.

Wait, what if this actually happened before the events of Inside Out? And it's why Anger keeps attacking Fear. He never forgave him. Joy told him that Fear tried to kill her.

Its because in early development in the deleted scenes they called characters by different names like “Ira for Irritation/Anger”
I know maybe that's why they deleted the name
