Guys relax! Assam really was the land of Tantra, Black Magic etc. But some how that knowledge is erased now. All books got burned. We are Sanatani now because Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva guided us. He revealed us to the truth. Then came Azan Fakir the saint, introduced Islam to the Assamese. In the name of these two saints, we Hindus and Muslims live together in Assam. We offer prayers in Namghars and offer Duahs in Masjids. But the Sanatana introduced to us by Sankardeva is monotheistic or I should say he believed Narayan is the only real and Almighty god. He didn't left place for Shiva and Ma Shakti whom we worshipped before Narayana. But still we have them in places like Kamakhya,Kechaikhati etc.
