That is a Lovely Boutique! The beautiful sand art piece would be coming home with me. Thank you Dr Lori, for explaining each piece in great detail and showing us what to look for. Forever teaching!
I used to Macrame back in the 70s using Jute. I made many beautiful plant hangers, wall hangings ect...I even used Macrame to redo the Aluminum Lawn Chairs when the webbing was in disrepair. I made quite a few large Macrame Owls that would perch on Natural Driftwood, not to toot my own horn, but they were beautiful. I have nothing to show for all my hard work only the "memories"lol as every time a piece was finished and it didn't matter what it was, it sold! I wish I still had some in my collection. You are amazing Dr. Lori, I love your channel! ❤
DR Lori, Hi. That milk glass piece from the 1970s - the citrus cup. That's called a "buffet" at the bar.😂💝 Thank you, DR Lori. You aired today at the perfect time for me. XXOO
I enjoy watching your videos and gathering your knowledge. Of all the vintage items out there, MCM is my least favorite. I guess because I grew up in a home full of things from that era.
Dr.Lori I have two 8 piece china sets of Holly Hobbie dishes in perfect condition (service for 16) with the extra serving pieces. Used less than 10 times. Any idea what I could ask for the sets. You are the best. I learn so much from you! Thank you.
Thanks for watching! I can help, but need to see the pieces to verify what you really have. Many factors affect value. Please see my website for the ways you can show me pieces.
Marriage is not worth it in modern times. I’m certainly no expert on the subject.. But your appraisal’s seam to be more then I can ever get outa pieces. I can’t give away most milk glass
I'm still not sure where the sales data is coming from. No Holly Hobby teapot has sold on eBay over $30 in the last 3 months. And this particular one is currently listed as a BIN for $12.00. Also, Mid Century modern is not the 1970's. It's a style. And the Mid Century era is 1945-1965.
Have you watched my video "Stop Quoting eBay Listings! I’m Sick of It and Here is Why" at th-cam.com/video/mDBSI2wV0gk/w-d-xo.html My values are based on what people really pay. Actual sales. Believe what you want.
Maybe rewatch the video! She stated that Holly Hobby was the 1970s and the teapot is from the 60s. And just because eBay hasn't sold this teapot doesn't mean this information is false, or because eBay has something listed for $12.00 doesn't necessarily mean that the item is really worth $12.00. Doctor Lori, a doctorate, meaning years of work and study behind this name it's safe to say she knows her shit!
I enjoy these videos but Good Grief 8 commercials in a 12 minute video is ridiculous. Sorry Dr. Lori I'm not that committed where I can deal with all these ads.
Would you be willing to pay a small monthly fee to watch my educational videos that help many make money without the ads you mention? I’d like to hear everyone’s feedback. Thanks for watching :)
