I used to watch the show all the time but started getting out of it when Sandra Oh left. I did however watch a few episodes with him in it and I loved his character. Of course can't beat the accent either 😁

i don't think they gave the character of Hayes a chance, i think that character had such potential and maybe because they decided to scrap the Meredith relationship plot point they just stopped trying with his character at all. so sad to see him go cause i liked him, but with what the writers were giving his character it doesn't really effect anything.

yeah I think you're right. Once there was no chemistry with Meredith, the character was just kind of floundering.

I feel like the character of Hayes was not fully developed and he always seemed out of place.

I also am only invested in the Meredith story line. I really did like Hayes, and had hope that he and Mer would work out. But when Nick came on there was sparks flying. I hope Mer and Nick stay together.

I didn't really enjoy his character. Nor Scott Speedman who i oddly know personally from when I was in college
