We met up with Todd Williams of Angeles City Expat Rental Properties and toured a very nice townhouse in the Plaridel area of Malabanias Angeles City. This is a fully furnished 3 bedroom 4 bathroom multilevel unit with car port balconies a grass backyard area and much more.

Nothing is better than renting you have control and you can move anytime if things go sideways with landlord or girlfriend or wifes family 😮
great call 👍 i prefer the freedoms of renting, some are still driven by the own own own theory which holds merit but suppresses freedom
Not 100% true, you cannot move anytime you want if you rent. Because most better units require leases. If you breaK your lease you will have mote issues. Also you can be told to move on very short notice. Also the rent can be raised on 30 days notice.
It is a nice complex apartment. Lots of space and every bedroom has a bathroom. The price is not that bad. Also nice to have a roommate to split the rent 😊

The problem with buying a condo is you lose control. Here in the Philippines, most Condo associations are controlled by the original developer. The monthly association fees can be very high, and the rules can be changed at anytime by the condo association. Also, as the units become older, the required maintenance can go way. And since the original developer controls the association, they pick who will do the work and how much they will pay. In many cases they have done the work themselves but charge two or three times the real value. And the condo owners must pay for this in a special assessment.
@@AngelesCityExpatRentalProperty So true! Ridiculous rules and fee's here in the Makati condo I live in. PLUS when you buy it also locks you into living in an area unless you decide to become a landlord.
At 60 years old I'm totally uninterested in owning property in the Philippines. I want the flexibility to leave and live wherever I want whether it's BGC for a month or Boracay for 6 months, etc. This unit does look livable. I prefer all split level A/C's because they are quiet....

@@tomsorrell4918 Unit has three Daikin Split AC units, only one of the guests rooms has an inverter through wall unit that is quiet then the splits units. The two master bedrooms are both full split units
