Billy and the boys have put in an ungodly, amazing amount of time into what they do. Absolutely mesmerizing performances guys. Can't wait for y'all to hit the Texas stages again.
Gotta say it again - whomever puts these recaps together - THANK YOU!! Thanks for giving!
Saw you Cologne. What a gig! When you played a tribute - without any fanfare - to Gordon Lightfoot, with 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.." I had tears in my eyes. (addendum: wow, I posted this before seeing this recap film)
I was crying to that one too all the way across the pond in Chicago; couldn’t believe they played it. Brings me back to my parents playing Gordon cassettes as a kid
Cologne was NUTS.
Dude I totally asked billy to cover this a few months ago!!! I lost my shit when he started playing it!!!! From North dakota!
Fellow ND goat here! Caught him in Boise and 1st night pdx. Glad there's more than 1 of us!
God Bless the Music Makers!
I‘m dead serious that show in Munich was one of the best experiences I ever had! ❤
Been there too, felt the same
Same here
Be there too. Was a blast! Wow!
Thank you for all the amazing concerts in Germany over the past few months. We love you🫶 Thank you for loving us back🙏
I love that euro audiences are showing love for american roots/country/bluegrass musicians like this. 49 winchester just completed their tour opening for Luke Combs and were immediately booked to headline their own euro tour! This is a global roots revival, baby!!!
Was first timer at show last night in Baltimore. Mind blowing talent and show. Watching on video is no justice. Seriously go to a live show
Be back soon please. And hopefully in Denmark 🇩🇰
So, what were you shooting up at the beginning of this video? Didn't know you did that....love ya....you are the face of the future, hope you know that, of the progressive bluegrass field! 💗
Thank you ANDY for the andycam on Nugs; so awesome! THANKS 🥰
Amazing run! Please come to Italy!
Italy would be AWESOME!
Those were some amazing venues. Glad you had a great tour. Glasgow was my favorite. Thanks to Andy and you all.
What an amazing tour, certainly had the time of my life, thanks boys! Catch ya'll next time ❤ look out for me in the manchester footage 😊
Possibly the best gig I've been to in many a year! 1st and definitely not the last! Come back Billy! Manchester loves you ❤❤
closest thing in quality-of-vibe to a grateful dead show in the late eighties, that's what I hear... the best music group from America, right now
This tour was amazing! Can somebody tell whats the song at 3:00?
"The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot.
Gordon gave Bobby Sands, the political Irish hunger striker, permission to use the melody of this song for the song"Back home in Derry". Which was written by Bobby Sands while in prison..
Can't wait till the next one!!!!!😀🥰😁💖🎼☯
I love all y'all, especially Billy and the boys. They slay those strings every time, Thank you for this amazing recap, and the nugs streams.
Since I don't get to go to a ton of shows I rely on the records. The studio records are my jam, I love Billy's songs, they are incredibly uplifting and redemptive, plus that feller can play that guitar a little bit. The last show of the winter tour here in Cincinnati was a hootenanny.
Caught Billy twice this year (6.17 in Chicago and 10.31 in Grand Rapids), but wish we could get to more. That's getting older for ya - more responsibilities. But you are in good company as far as couch tours are concerned, my friend! We catch as many as we can, and we hope you do too!
I'm a single Dad, a year removed from cancer surgery and radiation and being able to even go to that show was a combination of those formerly uncountable blessings and miracles from a fellow survivor and fan. Its like you said: adulting in the real world. BMFS and his (their?) music has really come in handy to combat the blues. Would there was a show in The Nati this tour!
@@RandyHofbauer
@@RandyHofbauer That Grand Rapids show was something else. In addition to Chicago, i caught them out in Portland and when he put on that rubber muscle suit, we were like WTF?!?! Once the Halloween theme was announced, it all made sense. I love the fact they put so much work and effort into the Halloween shows....
Wait...how is it possible that you had no idea what you were in for? @@CorneiliusLibowitz
@@sgenetti77 what?
Awesome recap! I saw you in Amsterdam. What a great show!
Will we get a Europe '23 live album?
Great little travel documentary! I want to party with the Paris crowd haha They got tore back!!
That Paris crowd WINS! They were off the chain and those Goats on that front row were leaning on the STAGE! FIRE!
9:42 NO SHIRT NO SERVICE....CANCEL THAT...NO SHIRT, SERVICE.
12:28 Beatles - And your bird can sing tribute. Love it!! Norway’s waiting for you guys to return! 🏔️🪕🤘
I absolutely wanna hear/see them perform "The Wreck of the Ed Fitz"... I don't ever recall them playing it, at least what's uploaded to YT... IF ANYONE caught that performance, puhleeeeeze upload it!!!!
Thank you for the best week of my life
AURORA is one of Europe's finest treasures. Scandinavian of course 🙂 Billy Strings × Aurora would be Heaven on Earth! Legit.
Man wish I could've followed them through europe. Wish I could follow them through the states too, but I have to work and I'm broke :(. lol, nugs will have to do. But god dam that final clip of him jamming cocaine blues with some random fans, Must've been an unreal to experience that. I would've been singing along lol. cheers
Hey Billy, I have an artist that ive known about for 15 yrs. I believe, with his talent it would fit right in with your style of music. With that being said, I believe everyone deserves a chance. and if you listen to his stuff, as far as I can tell he'd fit you demographic. Even if it were for a couple test shows. Anyways I'm gonna leave a link to his channel amd maybe you can help a brother out. If he's got his stuff together enough to run with you for a minute. Hopefully he does cuz i dig him and hes got the same bluegrass flavor as you.
Hopefully, from what i see from his raw shit and the new image they got him looking like... ill just share the link to his stuff.
🏵🍂🍂🍁Happy Grateful Day ! ml💝
I wish they would slow down and worry more about diatonic melody then how many notes per second can I play.
Damn ! I missed the Euro tour. What’s with the arm baths ? Does anyone know ?
And as we all should do any chance we get... ive paid it forward for the day.
I went to too of these concerts and they were amazing I was the boy who's hat you signed
Love the Nirvana shirt ❤❤
London show was fantastic. I've been to all three London shows and this was the best!
I see that PT…keep those tendons strong and limber. And use cbd
Please visit Sweden with your orchestra 🇸🇪
Hope I have the honour to see you guys again. ❤
De Melkweg Amsterdam 2022, I was so close to get my t-shirt signed but I promised my friend we would go straight home after the show because he had to work at 6am and we had to drive back home for 2.5 hours. Antwerp 2023, brought myself 100 stickers to give away to people as a memory of a great evening and amazing show. Second part I sneaked all the way to the front and after the show Billy came straight to me and signed my record of me and dad. He kept my marker tho so all people who got an autograph you're Welcome 😂 next goal Europe 2024 smoke a joint with him that would be amazing 😊
Gordon Lightfoot NICE!
And Please! Come back to Europe soon! And to Switzerland too pls!
Billy and Crew. We Love you.
I want to follow Billy's outlook on life. Live every minute to it's fullest, and never hurt anyone on the way. I can't find the words to express my admiration of him and his "band brothers"❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤ ❤ ❤ billy and the boys ❤ ❤ ❤
Quite amusing that he is simply blowing through a metal straw in a container full of water. That cracks me up.
Love these video compilations!
I took my son,..one of his good friends, one of my good friends and saw Billy and his crew just outside of Missoula Mt (Bonner)... what a fantastic show!!!
Was such a pleasure to meet you in Amsterdam after the second show! Enjoyed every minute of the concert and you as a musician!
Great videos.

Paris show was fantastic!

nice. come back soon.
This is great thanks
he’s a jolly ol’ fella
Rockstar 7:14
Thank you Ryen
Luxembourg was good but very traditionnal, no electric parts, no psychedelic tunes, no long songs... But 34 songs, a real marathon of bluegrass classics... loved it but I prefered Cologne last year
Nuttin wrong with that!
@@CorneiliusLibowitz It's still one of Billy's rare concerts where no song exceeds 7 minutes, and it's true that there wasn't a long jam with guitar and effects like he's used to, right? ?
@@Sherpa38 I dunno, i wasn’t there, but it would be cool to see them play an all, or at least a mostly all, acoustic show. I’ve been to about a half dozen shows, and i’d say, the least jammed-out show was my first in 2018. But that was before they got real popular, plus it was a short festival set, so there wasn’t a lot of time to jam out, tho Creek was a mind-blower! BTW, that show was FREE…..we’ll never see that again!
@@CorneiliusLibowitzok, so why did you write i was wrong?? Perhaps i didnt understand your words😢
@@CorneiliusLibowitzlast year thé hit of thé show was highway hypnosis for me. Bye!
That first Amsterdam show was fantastic. Almost 3 hours of mindblowing showmanship. If there's a next time I hope you play at the Paradiso again ;)
I have to give it to them; landing front row for every single US show- then landing rail on every EU tour show is…..impressive.
You boys deserve every good thing that comes your way and I’ve always appreciated the kindness/warmth that the entire group gives off. Looks like it was a blast, too!
So proud of your band. ❤😊🎉
