    Love billy, gives me inspiration.
All the talk of old hoss, and trigger. But no mention of the most famous acoustic guitar of all time he recently played ( 58957 ) huge missed opportunity.

Tobe Bean was in a great working class band called Street Dogs back in the day. He's been a tech now for a while.

The K&K Ultra Mini ( I think that's what it's called ) that is a totally passive system using 3 tiny "transducers" that glue directly to the bridge plate inside the guitar's top is hands down THE BEST, MOST NATURAL SOUNDING system I've ever heard. JP Cormier demonstrated them on his youtube channel, and I've been 100% convinced ever since. It's the ONLY system he uses nowadays, and he's having them installed in all of his acoustic guitars for stage use. I also like the fact that it's totally hidden, and other than drilling a hole for the input jack receiver ( where the strap button would be anyway ), it doesn't adulterate your fine instrument in any way. Plug into a PA system, use the tone & level controls on that particular PA channel, and you are golden. K&K also has that little box with the level, tone controls ( and I think a notch filter ) that the guitarist can locate nearby on the stage, so the guitarist has total control of his guitar sound.

Man I love Billy strings! What a cool guy, and a bad mother picker! Would love to hang out with him. Inspirational to say the least. Always makes me want to jam. But I wish I could play 1/1,000 to his level. Live forever Billy!
