Sun Belt is a bit bigger than this now, they raided three from Conference USA and added one school who was moving up to the FBS just 2 years ago. Due to their teams fairly regularly upsetting much bigger schools, the conference has been christened "The Fun Belt" by fans. If you're looking for a conference to follow, this is one of your best options.
I'm glad you're going through these. I've been watching college football all my life and even I have never seen some of the stadiums from the smaller conferences. Some of them are quite impressive.
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers name and mascot comes from the South Carolina Gamecocks. Coastal used to be called University of South Carolina - Conway and their mascot copied the chicken/rooster theme of their parent university. They became independent and kept the rooster mascot going. Thursday Aug, 29 at 8pm EST the Chanticleers will be playing in whats expected to be close game, you should chime in!
You're gonna have to explain to him that there are two Bowling Greens, both are home to college football programs on more or less the same level, and your Bowling Green is the one where the Corvettes are built.
I found the stadium no problem on Google Maps, but nobody has uploaded a photosphere yet so I could see the POV you're talking about. That's weird. Most minor league parks will have like a virtual tour you can click through.
You have the AAC, American Athletic Conf and CUSA, Conf USA left in Division 1. There are 9 conferences in the top level D1 (FBS) . D1AA (FCS) is the next level.

@patrolnation the Sun belt is near what’s known as the rust belt (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Belt) it covers eastern California , Nevada , Arizona , New Mexico , Utah and west Texas )
The Rust Belt is up north, specifically referring to areas hit hard by loss of industry. The Sun Belt is the geological south of the United States stretching all the way across, not limited to the areas that are considered to be culturally part of "the south," which normally just means the southeast.
@staceysmith8173 Until we set out clocks back in November, then it'll be 3am. It's ok, because most Saturdays the last games aren't done until after 1am eastern (or even later if Hawaii is playing at home)
@staceysmith8173 These are Sunday morning your time. Most weeks, the best games will be in the 3:30pm and 8pm US Eastern window (5:30am and 10am Sunday your time). NBC has Big 10 Saturday night and ABC will have a primetime SEC game in the 8pm window. CBS used to have a 3:30pm SEC blockbuster game; I'm guessing they'll do the same now they have part of the Big 10 contract with NBC and Fox. Fox is normally the network that puts a great game at noon, either Big 10 or Big 12 conference teams involved. All the changes this year between conference realignment and the TV contracts is going to mess up a LOT of fans this year until they get used to it.
@chrisperkins561 thank you for all of that information. I'm in the states also, Lyle is in austrailia he doesn't know what games he will actually be able to view in austrailia yet so he will be winging it, at first. He does 2 other streams on that day so we have been trying to figure out if a game can be put in between he other 2 streams or if we have to move one or both of them. He also wants to watch some of the ones that should be great games or even the great rivalries.
Lyle I Love your channel but I'm SEC Football 🏈 conference. The Biggest and Baddest in College Football 🏈. I hope you do a live Video Saturday kick off for American College Football 🏈. 😉👍❤️. AUBURN UNIVERSITY. WAR EAGLE 🦅..🧡💙
He's is going to do it he's just not sure which teams he will actually be able to watch and some of them start at 2am his time. So we are trying to see what will work the best for his schedule. Keep an eye out
Marines need a d1 program they’d eat on the field bruh people might actually die on the field and probably a fight most games 😂I have a good friend went to the corps he never choose to play but put that dude in pads like armor he’d go wild 😂

Love your stuff, sir. If you ever make over to America, come on down to Bowling Green, Kentucky and I’ll take ya to a WKU game!

Trenton, NJ's AAA ⚾️ Thunder stadium has 4 lane highway next to it and we can see some driving by

Thank you. I think that's what I have on the list left for him to do. 😊😊
@staceysmith8173 Your right on track, doing a good job with it👍
@robertdedrick7937 thank you. I don't follow college football so it's new to me too.
You should see Boise State 's field it's deep blue. Migrating "ducks" Break legs thinking they are landing on a lake.

Enjoy the VERY early hours to watch the noon US Eastern time kickoffs...but some of those games will be very much worth the loss of sleep.
They start at 2am his time. YIKES 😂😂

Wait till you see the stadium at E WA Univ with its red artificial turf.
Lol, someone just sent me that photo today. It's real red.
Not the same Kidd Brewer I assure you. A bit of an unusual first name.
Hi Lyle
You should do a reaction to the new College Football 25 video game trailer. You’ll want to play it!
You guys missed Marshall University and the Joan
Some of those stadiums are artificial turf.
