I loved my dollhouse and seeing all the miniatures took me back! I remember saving my money to buy furniture and tiny household items for my doll family. 😊
there are some beautiful things here. When you ship things that might have liquid in them, like the Snoopy with the soap, when you can get the top off, have you ever just laid a piece of thin cling wrap on the opening and then put the top back on? It's the hint I've seen for traveling with liquids and I have to say it works. No leaks!
Awe I would have loved those miniatures! My mom gave me an antique dollhouse that I want to furnish with antique looking decor! The white twin bed with the ornate headboard was gorgeous!

Loved seeing that vintage sofa...Memories of a sofa & chair that I had for sale in my store in a deeper colour.... Lots of neat things to see....loved the wall sconces you picked up!
I built three of those miniature kits as a teenager in the early 80"s. The desk you showed a highboy and a red velvet covered wingback chair. I still have them!
9c is a mark on older jewelry for 9 carat gold. We use 9kt more today.
Been on the HERR'S tour many times on our travels to Pa. The kids loved it. The Ketchup flavored potato chips were their favorite. Good times. 😊

We had a family member related to Herr’s here in Kansas. Herr’s would send her a LOT of different flavored chips for her to pass out to her customers. My daughter would give us a box full! Sadly, she passed away a couple of years ago but they still send the chips!!!

9c means 9 karat gold usually made in Scotland from what I could find online! Great find!
During the Christmas season Herrs has a free drive through light display .
The habitat store near me has mostly furniture, art and building supplies..no hard goods. I find the prices high on furniture but alot are antiques so that could be why. Never disregard leather even in poor condition.. so many great products that will refinish the leather and even color it.. I've kept my old set going for years even with sundamage and dog scratches. If it's well built it's worth restoring the leather
That leather sofa would look great in the maine cabin.the first light would look great in the Maine cabin too.maybe in a bedroom.north Carolina hugs to you and your family.wish I had a cabin in maine.i wish you and yours a great time when you get it finished.lov seeing the up dates.
