Nice video - history lesson. would have liked to see and hear more about the Polish postage stamps commemorating this WW2 event. Looking forward to seeing other of your videos about stamps !
Like or Dislike: Like. This is an important topic both historically and philatelically, and you covered it like an expert. Last summer while traveling in #Poland I visited #Gdansk and the postal museum there, and it was a meaningful and memorable experience.
Well presented and well-edited, Micheal and also thanks for the information from Matthew. I can't believe a stamp could contain that many errors. I went to Gdańsk in person back in 2015, I know one of the buildings on the stamps but I think I didn't visit the monument. Obviously, I was not serious in philately. After I became serious about stamps, I found that I would like to revisit many of the places I have been....
I think the same way too! There's many places I wish I could visit again now that I'm interested in stamps :) guess it's time to start removing a few off the list!
Excellent video, great subject. It’s easy to overlook a lot of Polish stamps because of the profuse CTO issues put out during the communist years…this video does a great job of showing that like many things a second look makes the material more deserving of interest.
I like this video a lot. I collect World War 2 topical stamps, stamps issued during the WW2 era and Third Reich Stamps. From the stamps featured in this video I only have one in my collection (the one with the memorial monument). But thanks to this video, I now have the interest in adding all of the other stamps to my collection, in order to commemorate this sad but patriotic story.
Very interesting story and well presented! I will be on the lookout for these stamps in the Polish part of my worldwide collection!
Well done Michael. I'm glad I discovered your channel and wish you great success.
Awesome video! Keep showing how stamps and history are connected!
Brilliantly made! Well done Michael, and great job also teaming up with Matthew for collaboration. This was a professional production 👌
Thank you Graham! 😁
Thank you :)
Great Content! Thank you
Thanks!
Very educative and presented study of the stamps taken up. Thank you for the philatelic and historical enrichment. Best wishes from Goa, India.

This was excellent. A well told story and one that I was not aware of. Makes me want to track down the stamps now ;)
