I’m excited to share my latest project where I created an Annual Rainfall Map of Delhi for the year 2023 using the powerful capabilities of Google Earth Engine (GEE). 🌍
Leveraging the CHIRPS dataset, which provides global daily precipitation data, I calculated the total rainfall for the year and visualized it across Delhi. This analysis helps in better understanding regional rainfall patterns, which can be critical for water resource management, urban planning, and flood mitigation efforts.
What's even more exciting is that I was able to accelerate this process with the help of ChatGPT! Using it, I: ✅ Quickly generated custom GEE code to process and visualize data. ✅ Developed a rainfall legend for better interpretation of the map. ✅ Optimized the workflow with clear, step-by-step guidance to ensure accuracy in the visualization.
