That guy was an absolute monster on the ice, a real world beater, phenomenal skater to watch. They way he would surge and gap people. He must have inspired a lot of the Koreans we see in this generation too I would think. He inspired me to pick up some skates and give it a try when injury sidelined my athletics ambitions!

Maybe the best, he became Viktor Ahn after Korea team thought he was finished. Can you do Choi Min Jeong?

Lots of drama followed him again during the Beijing Olympic. Most Koreans felt betrayed when they found out that he was coaching Team China. Plus the questionable wins by the Chinese just made him hated by the Korean fans. As for Choi Min Jeong, at such a young age, she has accomplished a lot. Looking forward to watching all the upcoming ISU events.

The only problem in your analysis is that the canadien and the korean are not pushing and dropping the same skate on the ice. Can left skate kor right skate

I disagree, the Canadian is late with emphasis and has nothing into the ice off of right

It's like a collision of 2 different eras - the Canadian is heavier, pushes out away from his mass with his legs, and the Korean is light, early emphasis, pushes into the ice, and drives his MASS forward AWAY from his pushing leg. Two very different approaches.
