Unemployment is down to 3.7%, If the Republicans had not stopped 'their own' Bill because Trump told them, the best southern border Bill to hit Congress in Decades. If it hadn't been for that, Biden would of signed it, the border crossing would have stopped. Money for the border would had started, money to help Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan would had been released. Trump doesn't want anything that's good for the country and the world to be credited to Biden. He's hoping to be elected again and take credit for everything. My student loans have been forgiven. (Thank you President Biden.) I went to college as a single mom of 2. I relied on Pell Grants, scholarships, work study, HUD and food stamps. I earned my Master's with a 4.0.
I am now 66. I wouldn't ever be able to pay the loans off. I borrowed $36k. Interest added another $125k. My actual payments totaled over $38k.
I paid back every dime of my student loans. And I have no sour grapes if studen loan debt is forgiven and reclassified so that it can be removed through bankruptcy.
