You should buy a carpet for the living room! Also it is normal to grow herbs and some plants. I live in a condo in bgc also and i have plenty! Congratulations on the new place ♥️
Leo Howard And in high rise condos or apartments the ventilation is not great so plants can improve air quality as well as thriving as long as they have sun and water 😊
It’s not only about CO2 but other particulates and toxic gases where air quality is not advisable for growing and eating herbs or vegetables like cities in China & India. I think Philippines still have acceptable AQI.
it's heartwarming when i see my fellow filipinos' hospitality on full display.. but it also nice to see foreigners from different countries getting along and becoming friends while here in the philippines..
Shocks!!!! Welcome & thank you for choosing PH guys. And yes Lucy we plant veggies flowers herbs in our balconies in a pot.goodluck in decorating/designing!!!looking 4ward to the finished product 😊😊😊
Lucy tried it already when they got 100k subs. And she dared and teased george to try it as well if they get 200k which he thought a not so nice idea. Lol

Your apartment looks so awesome. You both look so happy. And then meeting up with Lois and James at La Picara made for a perfect day. That's what "kilig" is all about. Yeah! 👍😁
I wonder why PLDT installed George & Lucy's internet in a flash. My gosh, ours was installed few months ago but not activated yet. PLDT's customer service is the worst. They cannot help you at all.
They installed ours at once and we're not even in the city. It took at least 2 days because they had to set up a pole. It depends on who the employees are.
Enjoyed this vlog a great deal....you guys never disappoint. Looking forward to a lot more of your new adventures around the Philippines. I think your vlogs will be coming from a different perspective because you are now starting to take roots of your new life down there. Really happy for you both.
I MISS EUROPE AND UK AND PH SO VERY SUPER MUCH THAT WATCHING YOUR VLOGS FOR THE PAST 3 DAYS IS GIVING ME SO MUCH GOOSEBUMPS! I can't wait to travel!!! I hope to see you guys soon when the borders are open to travel!
Just finished watching... Excited for you guys! My hope is that you both continue to be successful and that one day you'll connect with all the other popular vloggers there soon. You're already connected most of the greats! Keep adventuring... I'll be going home to Iloilo in April for my 40th and bring friends that have never been... I hope we can meet up during that time!
*Hahaha! Welcome to the BGC!!! I was here before it became BGC. Born and raised in Fort Andres Bonifacio. My family has been here even before the American time when it was called Fort William McKinley. I know which building you guys are in by just showing the view from your window.* *One of our favorite places to explore in the then Fort Bonifacio was the underground tunnels which the Japanese built during their occupation of the Philippines in the 1940's using POW slave labor. The longest tunnel extends all the way to Intramuros in Manila (37 km), It had multiple entry and exits around, from the Maricaban in Pasay, PEMBO in Makati, and others I wont mention anymore. Sadly, most of that man made tunnels are now sealed off and only a fraction of it still exists within what is now known as BGC. One known entrance to the tunnel that still exists is near Market Market where the original Army Museum use to stand, that's the entrance we used to use to go down. There is another entrance somewhere in Fort Bonifacio, but I won't tell where it is and where it leads. WE can't use the other entrance since it is located in.... * *I believe they still allow certain individuals to go down there by special accommodation. I heard there are plans to commercialize the remaining tunnels underneath BGC, but as of yet, no news have come out of it after they "discovered" it and was surprised it even existed.* *Perhaps George and Lucy, you can get in touch with Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) and make arrangements with them to make a video blog about it.*
Yes. I worked in BGC back in 2006 and it was called "The Fort" then. Not too many buildings and the military jogged everyday at dawn. A decade later, I am back and it's now BGC and it looks like NY now.
*Good to know @Kris Tinna. However, "The Fort" is actually just one area with restaurants and clubs. The most "infamous" of which is called "The Fort" next to a restaurant called "Prince of Jaipur." The entire Fort Bonifacio was known to us old timers simply as "Bonifacio." c",)
@Check & Check - You're very much welcome. The entire Fort Bonifacio used to be my playground growing up. We were shielded from the outside world. I had mixed feelings when development started there since, now, almost everything has changed. Most of the centuries old Acacia trees and grasslands are gone. We used to have cool climate inside Bonifacio even in the summer time. During storms, The surrounding areas would be flooded and we NEVER had those inside, except for Mini Park which was a sunken area. That park is right next to where SM Aura now stands where many many officers houses were located. All residential lots in the old camp were "American sized" meaning you have a big front and backyard. Lots are from 800 to up to 1,000 square meters. You still can see traces of the OLD FORT BONIFACIO in Consular Area. It was aptly named because that is where American Consuls used to stay during the American time and the camp was still Fort William McKinley. Consular Area is located between Forbes Park and JUSMAG Area where military officers are also housed. JUSMAG is gone and in its place now exists McKinley West which annexed a portion of Consular Area.
Genkuro Shuriken My mom was born in McKinley right before the war. Then my grandfather served with the US Army and died in Camp O’Donnell. My grandma used to refer to the place as McKinley all the time. When it was Fort Bonifacio some of the US barracks were still there until the 80’s. You had to go in Bomifacio to get to the American cemetery.
Wooow!! Congrats on your new apt George & Lucy. It will be fun to see how you’re going to umph its interior decor . You definitely have many exciting projects coming up. Woohoooo!!🤩 That cofee shop! Wish i am there👍👍
It is not advisable to put rugs in the balcony because it will collect dust quickly but plants are a great addition to cut the pollution going to your unit.
I like your condo unit. You guys travel in style, and need a cozy/homey place to go home to at the end of day. And I like your style of vlogging , sharing your thoughts, and anything in between. Be safe always. From Jacksonville Florida USA 🇺🇸🇵🇭

You should buy a carpet for the living room! Also it is normal to grow herbs and some plants. I live in a condo in bgc also and i have plenty! Congratulations on the new place ♥️
I think people do grow vegetables and herbs in Cities ultimately CO2 is principal food of all plants.
