She was just set in her belief that he didn't belong there and nothing he could say or do (buzzing himself in before entering, showing his fob to her, unlocking his apartment with his key) could get her to stop. Her behavior was inexcusably out of line but she's too dumb and arrogant to admit it and apologize for it.

@Jordan Ryos Ben Shapiro looks good in debate clips because most of them are of him debating college students who have no clue what they're talking about.
It starts with him, a stranger to her, wanting to enter a locked building. She is in the door and asks him to use or show his key, since she doesnt know him. If he used 1 sec on this, that would have been all. Easy peasy. Instead he chooses to refuse, lie and push himself. He knows or should know that she is following house rules. We have the same practice where i live. U need to use or show your key, cause we dont let strangers into the building. Keeping it safe where we live. And race is no concern, we see individuals.
Erik Hasselberg at the same time don’t confuse what your building does with other buildings. It would be a different story if he was a member of that community that had that rule and he didn’t want to do so but seeing as this story and facts presents don’t have that as the case then he was not obligated to tell this lady any information. Everybody in this nation has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and he has the right to privacy about where he lives and who he gives information to. This lady was not the owner of the complex and did not handle the situation correctly and now is highly embarrassed by it. I’m not hating on you and the system you use but don’t assume just because you have a system that works for you means that it applies everywhere and someone should just let their right to privacy be violated.
@@earthman7088 I dont think its wrong, asking the man to use his key. The house rules states, also in this building, that u r not supposed to let strangers in. I think thats why she asks him. As written, he could have just taken 1 sec using his key. Whats wrong with that? I dont get it.

@@5000MikeMaster or maybe she just never seen him in the building and was suspicious. I mean she still in the wrong but what makes you think she racially profiled him
You people are so fast to judge. Following them to their appartment is what you do when you meet someone who doesn't look like a resident and want to be sure it's not an intruder roaming around freely in your building. (I shall say that blocking the way is just weird and maybe a misuse of female "untouchableness", but I guess it's something you do when you feel protective about something.) Possibly, black people are underrepresented in this luxury appartment, hence her suspicion. Just like many police officers, her suspicion is based on her statistical experience. Bias/judgement on human appearance based on statistical experience is very problematic and should not be tolerated, but it's also very human and every human does it intuitively. Humans are flawed in countless ways and so is everyone reading this. This woman should be required to show a readiness to learn and should face consequences if she doesn't, but just from the video that we have seen, it's odd how many people demonize her.
Was she rude, asking him for a key card and following the house rules? He should know about the house rules and that she is just following them. Why didnt he just show his key? Instead he is lying about buzzing in.
@@janetjordan2246 Maybe he kept cool cause he knew that the women was following the house rules? Or because he knew she caught him lying about buzzing in?

I can't fathom how many times this may have occurred BEFORE cell phones were available to capture these instances. Every week it's another one. It's really sad.
D'Arreion Nuriyah Toles was in the wrong. He tried to go into the building when she was holding the door open for her dog. It's NOT OK just to walk into the building when another resident opens the door. She was just doing what the condo board instructed tenants to do. They sent out an email saying " NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO ENTER WHEN YOU ENTER OR EXIT " You shouldn't put people in a position of them being responsible for you gaining access to the building. He could have just waited ONE SECOND and entered the building with his own key. Etiquette and safety dictate that you use your own key to gain access to the building, otherwise, any stranger can just use a resident to gain access to a building. It is shameful that D'Arreion Nuriyah Toles turned this into a racial incident and getting a woman fired who was just trying to keep a stranger from gaining access to the building without using a key. If you watch the video, she says "use the keypad." WHY couldn't he do that? On top of trying to use her to gain access, he refused to say what unit he lived in! It is sad that so many people are condoning Tole's actions and condemning this woman. She didn't deserve to be fired.
This happens in some form or fashion, everyday Somewhere USA! If he were a white guy, she would never have questioned him, but because he was not she decided to be law enforcement. If someone was entering behind me, I would not expect then to allow it to close then open it. So if you live in a gated community, you should block the entry until the gate closes and let your neighbor open it with their remote? No, it’s courtesy. That courtesy must be extended to all or your biases will dictate how you respond.
I know then she said, "you did not" and then he said, "IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER"!! But it DOES MATTER. Him saying "it doesn't even matter" if he used his key is wrong and certainly was a signal to her that he didn't have a key to access. All he had to do is WAIT ONE SECOND and open the door himself WITH HIS OWN KEY, not use her opening the door to gain access!
Listen, I have waited for a woman to enter my building with her key and let the door close and lock and THEN I opened it with my own key. Why? Because you don't do something like walking in behind a woman entering a building like that! This guy had no manners. He asked her for her unit number and she gave it to him! BUT then he STILL refused to say his! All he had to do is WAIT ONE SECOND and open the door himself WITH HIS OWN KEY, not use her opening the door to gain access!
You're all racists because you see the world through a racial lens. A non-racist person does not see race nor recognize so-called race. If you do indeed recognize race then the real question is WHO are you racist against and WHO are you racist in favor of? Racism will continue to exist in one form or another for as long as people identify people by race. That's right, merely recognizing race makes you a racist. In this example, CBS is racist by labeling the man as "black man" and the woman as "white woman" instead of identifying them as "man" and "woman". The real truth is, neither one of them are black and neither one of them are white. CBS is guilty of causing division and promoting racism - something all liberal and Democrat leaders are guilty of.
@@sunwun6167 Yes your main point of their not being racist and CBS identifying as "black" and "white is wrong, however it doesn't help anyone to come swinging with "you're all racists" lol.
@@sunwun6167 When you dont call a black man black, it doesnt mean you are not racist. You are just blind lol. You dont know anyone of us so you cant say we are racist. Races do exist just like different races of animals exist. Because our skin tone and physical attributes have more similarities with people who come from the same place. Not everyone is from the same place. Thats how race works. Its not racist to call a black man black or a white man white. Its only racist if you put a negative perspective on it solely based on their race. Stop trying to make everything sound racist. You sound like those people who say they were raped just because you felt uncomfortable because a guy accidentally touched your shoulder with a skin particle of his pinky
The weirdest bit about this that I can't fathom is how respectable well kept and nice this guy looks and she still questioned him. Her only justification is his skin colour and that is so saddening.

That's exactly what I was thinking! What woman in her right mind gets into an elevator alone with a man who supposedly makes her so uncomfortable? She is a truly ignorant creature.
She just a liar. She wants to live in a building with only white people and she’s angry he could afford to live there. So she makes up the “I’m uncomfortable” excuse so we’ll all fall all over ourselves for her comfort. But he handled it perfectly, imo. She can go on feeling uncomfortable but she cannot block access to a building where he pays rent with his hard earned money. Reality check for the vapid witch.
It was for the security of the building. You'd do the same if you had people in your neighborhood that didn't look traditional to the area. So you can protect yourself but she can't? Just make sure you don't believe all women like you feminists are trying to pushon men, boo boo Facts & proof over women Due process forever Remember Emmett Till
Anyone who says that he should’ve just did what she told him to do, I promise you as a white man, this would never happen to me. As a private citizen, it’s not his responsibility to do everything a random person tells him to do. It’s called self-respect.
I've gone to visit people and had residents of the building open the door for me to get in. Nobody asked if I lived there or asked me anything at all. If I were a black man, nobody'd be opening that door for me.
Also the idea of telling a total stranger what apartment I live at every time they ask me sounds incredibly dangerous. I know she most likely wouldn't do anything dangerous or illegal to him in his own home, but he doesn't know that in the moment. The idea of telling just any stranger where I live because they demand to know is insane to me and I would never do it. Idc if we live in the same complex of building, you don't need to know where I live. Like wow.
@@samthelion3925 Not nearly as dangerous as letting strangers off the street into your locked building, though. Generally speaking, the person inside the building is not the threat.

Why would he expect to come in without her knowing if he is a resident? A lot of people are like her and wouldn’t let anyone they don’t know in. He could have buzzed in or showed the fob. This is bait and switch.

How sad is this. That woman should be ashamed
They sent out an email saying " NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO ENTER WHEN YOU ENTER OR EXIT "
You shouldn't put people in a position of them being responsible for you gaining access to the building.
@@RepresentativePress , you got it wrong, go back and watch the video, Mr. Toles had already buzzed in. Thank you.

Families Supporting Trauma Recovery Because he doesn’t have to show her anything.
@@misstmemrs what are you talking about? He doesn't have to prove to her that he lives there she's not building security
I love his reaction. Not angry, not upset, just moves on with his life and wishes peace on those who sought to harm him. We should all seek to be like this.
He's truly a good man
He didn't move on with his life, you at least a video and accuse someone of being racist to get them fired, when she was literally doing her job by questioning someone she didn't know who did not scan into the building as that are required to by the tendency.
It's too bad the racist white woman in question didn't mind her own business because she used her white privilege to harm him. Too bad people like her aren't peaceful and not seeking to harm someone else for the color of their skin.
@@ExquisiteKinkyCoils Exactly! I'm giving her that same energy she gave me. I can be diplomatic, but I'm not acknowledging or speaking with you lady, and forget wishing you well or peace. Deal with the consequences you created✌
@@christopherbertram8170 first of all he didn't get her fired. She's fired of her own doing. She did this to her. This is the consequences of her own actions. Secondly, shes not the property manager; therefore this was not her job. Thirdly, she is a racist, profiling stalker who needs to mind her own business.
Classy move by him in the end. Responding with love 🙏🏼
I'm a white guy and I have to say this dude showed extraordinary patience in the face of absolute ignorance and stupidity.
bless you white man
Does it matter that you're white?
Oh really?
Devil'sWolf 420 I’m black white n grey too
Im a green woman.
This girl looks like the girl who called the cops on a black girl selling water lol
*bet it’s her daughter*
Bruh that’s true lol but what’s her name again? Something like Alison right?
Sonny Permit patty lmao
I finished watching this video and The next video that's about to play is That women you're talking about lol
Yeah, both fat and ugly lmao
He's extremely mature for not pressing charges.... I'm not that mature.
Realistically, I guess I'm not either...
#BeBlessedandStayRoyal
thats not mature its stupid not to report, there should be consquences
And how many of those are link to other etnicities. Stop following the media. They put out misinformation according to how they want you to think. Trust its a war going on between to brothers and they want you to side with them..
I agree but we need to start pressing charges like they do
Why would you press charges over something like that?
You are a real gentleman, a real American who respects even a person who behaved awfully, awfully, awfully! We all need to learn such respect. Self-control and management in such a situation! God bless you, God bless her (to learn from this and respect people), and God bless America ❤️
Having self control doesn't mean he respects her. He wants nothing to do with her and avoids her at all costs. This isn't a 90s sitcom where everything's all good and their sipping coffee at their fav diner. He avoided being physically violent and didn't even raise his voice. Because her action and reaction is what will show who she is. Him being angry would give "justification" to why she feels the need to do that. EVEN if she approached him first. He wanted to get home and have no issue or escalate it with her. Some people would rather get revenge on their neighbors but that never turns out right for either party.
She is the type of person who would tell a Native American to go back to their country

Yes, I am very proud of how he acted and handled the situation, and I also agree with what he said about, having is camera out and ready, and catching everything that went on, because like he said, if he did not have the camera, it could of went a different way, and not good for him, and that is said that we live in this day and age, that what she did was not only wrong but I feel very rude and disrespectful,
bigger person *
flowered He is indeed a man, there is no need to correct this comment, though you are technically correct. Now if it was a woman, then I could understand you making this differentiation
You are a respectful educated man with wisdom and the strength to deal with a person like that. God bless you!

Duh!!!
She felt so threatened that she followed him everywhere

Wow. Just WOW. I'm glad he had his phone too!!
He'd would been accused for attempted rape without that recording and probably would been convicted for it in white America.

Smartphones are will continue to change the nature of human behavior. Mostly for the good.

Glad she was sacked. You don’t want her working with you!
"Sir you walked up on the street"...haha! Absolutely. She got him there. Everyone knows that black men should teleport into their place of residence. The fact that he would have the unmitigated nerve to try to actually use a street entrance proves what a detriment to society he is.
"Beam me up scotty" 😅😅😅😅😅😅 this is hilarious. ...👍
This is to much lmao 😂😂😂
LMFAO at him teleporting 😂😂😂 how else should he get home but by way of the sci-fi supernatural??? 🏠😄
Wtf?! Am I the only black man who doesn't know how to teleport?! Why didnt anyone tell me?! I've been forced to walk all my life!
@@zzdesolatezz You missed the annual conference? Well, at the very least, try to stick with the chimneys. It's not glamorous, but it does have a certain Harry Potter kind of charm.
If she is so uncomfortable why follow him in the elevator.... she is crazy
She really wanted sum BBD and he swerved her.
ikr? that's how you know her goal was to make *him* feel uncomfortable.
So he doesn't break into anyones apartment. I'm a white guy and this has happened to me several times. People don't want strangers in their building.
But she followed him until he went into his apartment. So at that point she should have dropped it. If he was breaking in, he would not have a key.
girl that's the excuse they use 2 say they r soo scared of us black people but follow us¿......hm but ok 🤔🤨
She's blocking him and says " I'm uncomfortable" white privilege .Smh
Along with a dash of Karen, a spice of hypocrisy, a cup of being an embarrassment to all of humanity, and very likely served as dish of shaming against someone that most likely wants to see her burnt to dust.
Did laugh at that.
Surprised she didn’t ask him to apologise for her being uncomfortable.
@@Ali74 Lmao I know right..She was probably thinking "why do i have to deal with this geesh" !!!!
Do not say white sir because if she feel uncomfortable it mean he looks strange to her never see him in building , put your self in her place you have to follow the policy . Or if something happen in some tenants, they will accusing her do not doing her job , see at this time where we are we have to cooperate to prevent bad things happen
I would to say also for black people to stop thinking all the time about colors (black and white )they are the one pulling back themself to racismes god creat white, black, yellow, there is no diffrences , the only diffrence is education , civic education what you can bring to the society the gods things
They never confirmed her managers discretion of no longer employing her.
