I was flying Jet Blue from Fort Lautherdale to Washington DC and I asked for apple juice. The flight attendant gave me a whole 500ml Tropicana Apple juice bottle for free!
I went on a flight from West Palm Beach to Washington D.C and the crew wasn’t very nice, but hey at least I got free Jolly Ranchers from a flight attendant when I was afraid of flying TwT
I really love the fact that you tell us about your experience. That's a plus for someone who's totally blind and can't read the image of the text onscreen. Fortunately, there are others who do this, and one of them, Timm from Hoosier Tim's Videos, goes all out and writes out so much about his trips in the subtitles. On top of that, he has an extensive blog you can open a second window for, and read everything almost play by play-like while I listen to his videos. Oh, and as I was listening even more to your voice, you sound a little deeper and perhaps older than Chills, so I know you aren't he. Anyway, Great video. Now, if you're curious, I'm typing this using text-to-speech technology that tells me what I'm typing, so I can correct any mistakes I made as I go. I still proofread what I've typed just in case I missed any. So there you have it! Tata.

Maybe this video is a good educational lesson, and because we enjoy it so much, we also learn how to be better people, because we have the capacity to make better choices instead of being led by advertisers and the big, bad media. What I like about Jet Blue is that they remain so professional with everyone. United and American Airlines, take note!
It's so easy to do. I'm guilty, and I even make excuses that I'm learning something, which I am. Perhaps if I just try to take something good from the experience and keep it in mind whenever I "have" to do something I keep putting off, because I just might benefit from getting it done. Now if I could just take that lesson and do what needs to be done right away, I can look forward to getting on TH-cam, provided that I do what I need to do correctly. I just have to tell myself "I can do it, but I just have to do it right and check myself when I'm done." I tell myself that I care about doing it right the first time. I think that's the same way good businesses do things, too. It all works out in the end.
Been looking forward to this since the last Economy Week ended. Saw this in my sub box and watched it in 360p as I couldn't wait for it to process any longer!
I'm a Delta frequent flyer and 90% of my travels are done with them, with some United and Jeblue here and there, I will say Jetblue is up there in terms of preference, I do alot of international traveling which is why I fly Delta a lot, but love to fly Jetblue on domestic routes when possible. One thing I will say though is that for some reason every time i fly Delta their cabins seem to be a lot more modern and dare i say cleaner, maybe just a coincidence, while Jetblue cabins seem to be stuck in early 2000's still, but I'm sure they will be fixing those issues soon, look forward to more of this series .
i was on a 6:20 am flight out on newark earlier this year and the captain of the flight came out into the terminal and onto the intercom and gives a whole speech about his background and the flight which i thought was pretty different.
Could you imagine them flying internationally? They would easily be one of the best/most popular airlines. Edit: i mean like long haul, from New York to Europe or from la to Asia kind of thing.

JetBlue is my favorite, followed by SW! With JetBlue you can't beat the free wifi and tv onboard! It looks like you've flown on an older plane. I've notice when flight attendants don't don't greet me when I'm boarding. It's almost like they forget we're their customers. Some could at least smile as another way of acknowledging you! It seems your second plane was nicer and maybe the a321? Nice vlog!
On a jetBlue flight from NYC to Turks and Caicos last year, while landing we actually had to go back around and try again due to weather. After a rough landing, the captain comes on the intercom and sighs heavily, then says "If you have a conncecting flight... you need to find a new travel agent!"
Great review. I had the pleasure of two jetBlue flights R/T from JFK, one to FLL and the other to SDQ (Santo Domingo, DR). Both were super phenomenal and two of the pilots on one of those return flights were super nice and had a great sense of humor when I complimented them on their nice 13L Canarsie approach and landing. Once again, thanks for sharing.
About their A321: As the sharklets on the wings show the A321 was not as old as the A320 (Airbus does the sharklets for five years now). So it I think it would be fair to say that they also might have older A321s and newer A320s with the respective cabins.
We should Wish you would have had the chance to spend some time at LGB! It’s one of the best airports in the world! We have local restaurants in the airport instead of the usual giant chains! The food and the wine and the ambience is fantastic! Yes it is a little crowded in the companionway between gates but what a great experience compared with other airports of similar size! Come back and spend more time here!
I’ve flown into LGB twice on JB. Once on a really old a320 and back on a really new a320. The airport in nice, small, but nice. Good views of the old MDD factory (has a Boeing logo on it now, but still) I loved the experience, lots of legroom, very friendly service (was nervous about something I hadn’t seen before, was very nice about it) the IFE is fine, because it isn’t as laggy and stupid as United’s 😂. I loved the small line at security in LGB, very easy, we could have been at the airport 12 minuets before the flight and still made it. Thanks for your insight on one my favorites carriers! Trust me, LGB is a lot better when it isn’t full!
Jetblue just raised checked bag prices.. $30/$40/$150.. a full FIFTY dollar increase on bag 3 +. Also the first mainline US carrier to charge $30 for the first bag. Expect other carriers to follow.
They have been on my "must fly" list for a long time. I really hope I can get the opportunity sometime in 2018. I've heard a lot of good things about them, and these videos really help too. Thank you for sharing. ✈

You must have superhuman abilities to be able to make a 4 minute connection at LGB,off the plane,into a crowded terminal,find the men's room,exit men's room and get to your connecting gate without any rudeness from staff members--flying Jetblue isn't practical for me--they fly from HOU to JFK and BOS but my family lives in AZ,so to fly east only to connect for a flight to PHX is crazy! What did you do in Portland during your layover?
It really would be so nice if you could actually film everything you talked about, but I'm especially interested in what's in the shopping catalog. There's a guy from Australia, and I think his channel is called "Inflight Expert", and he films all the key parts of the experience from before boarding to every part of the flight including detailed descriptions (both verbally and printed) of the accomodations at the airport and onboard each flight. Sometimes, he may even feature some of the accomodations at the termminal after he lands, especially if he's going to be staying at or nearby the airport. Of course, this guy loves to fly first class or business, but just think about how much more fun we'll all have watching and listening (in my case) to these videos. What really impressed me is that he would even describe those unique features and sounds we heard whenever something really impressed him. As you might guess, it really got him more viewers.
LGB reminds of the way Santiago, Dominican Republic Airport (STI) used be you had to go up stairs to get on the plane. Funny enough, JetBlue goes there ;).
Is the legroom really just as great on their new aircraft? I read that their new cabin reduced pitch from 34 to 32 inch. The slimmer seats partly compensate. And how tall are you? It's useless saying how great it is if you are short.

Martin2035 I would say Turkish airlines is the closest thing to JetBlue in Europe, but even they don't compare, and you have to fly through Istanbul.

I made a NYC- Houston with jetblue back in 2017 and it was a quite good experience
