Great selection as always! Might I add that the Red Star Bullhead is a mish-mash copy of the Seiko 6138-0040 (brown), and the 6138-0030 Kakume in blue, although the latter wasn't a bullhead. Either way, it's nice to see a hommage of these legendary and underrated vertical clutch/column wheel automatic Seikos from the '70s.
Jody, this channel is one of the few that I genuinely watch based on your personality and charisma pretty much regardless of the content, because being honest, anything over £200 is now outta my price range, but even that content is still entertaining to watch even though I know I'm not going to purchase one. (Pagani panda golden eye is 99% going to be my next purchase)
Titoni is an awesome source for affordable gorgeous vintage Swiss watches especially when found In original condition. With mid-century offerings like the Airmaster, Cosmo King, Space Star and Race King I’ve been snapping them up for $75 to $200 for the last few years and have amassed a great collection of Swiss craftsmanship with solid ETA movements for relatively little money. Nice to see Jody joining in the Felca-Titoni party.
I've looked at these myself but not bought, pleased to hear positive feedback. Got a few old Swiss hand winders recently and surprised just how good they are, although I shouldn't be. I suspect the case etc might not be coming from Switzerland.

The CWC homage caught my eye. I have a ton of NATOs and other assorted rubber dive straps that would work on it. It's dirt cheap and looks like fun watch that's really affordable.

Got the "Berny" Compressor a few days ago, I love it! Finish is impeccable, rubber bracelet is super comfy. It's a bit 'tall' but I think it'll make a *great* sport watch. And for 60 quid shipped, amazing really. Thanks for the tip! Oh, the lume is pretty good too! Last all nigth. Not as bright as some other watches, but definitely works just fine and is legible.
I've been eying up one of the QM Milspec divers for a bit now, but it is worth noting that the Miyota 2115 does not have a 10 year battery life, as they claim, but only 3 years, according to the product page on the Miyota website.

Hi Jodi. I purchased the Titoni Airmaster case and just assembled it last night. I honestly think these were service parts. I found out Titoni's biggest market is China and has been for quite a while. I do believe they are genuine but are probably "newer" new old stock. Still a fun little project. I have seen a few other Titoni cases on Ali including an all gold Cosmic Day-Date that I keep eyeing. Just a heads up...I purchased some extra 2824 crown stems but apparently the crown stem for the PT-5000 is a bit different. Luckily I was able to make the stem that came with the movement work.
I just pulled the trigger on the Pagani "Speedy" (love that V3 look!), the Thorn Tuxedo (looks great!), and a black and green dials of the Ironman "Retro" (love the minimalist look of old field and military watches) Still had some coupons available, too!
I actually love the case back on the Pagani Speedy because it's kitschy and charming. I don't think it's any more ridiculous than a mermaid riding a dolphin

I had to pick up the Titoni case too. It just showed up today. I agree with you that it is new old stock. No one but Vostok is making bracelets this bad anymore. At 36mm it is a bit small for me but I can pull it off. The only disappointment is the 19mm lug width but I can fit in a 20mm strap easy enough.
Really enjoyed and like the watches from Straton! I have bought few in different designs, very nice to hear so many new possible combination watch designs we can choose and pick. looking forward for it and hope I will be the lucky one, as rewards for a loyalty customer, cheers!

Having gone on to the AliExpress store it looks like it comes on a bracelet and has the leather included as a free gift. Did you spot this? Also on a Bullhead note, I notice that Detroit Mint have now released the Cliff Booth as an automatic! Bit pricey though so might have to think about what might have to make way for it.

I'm so tired of all watches that almost looks the same. I have bought several during many years, the last one is a Citizen with radio controlled time and Eco-Drive, so now I have two of them. They are well made, and have always the exact time, and no need to change the battery 😜 I got some watches from AliExpress as Pagani and some others. From now on I will stick with my Citizens and some others. I hope that I can slow down my strong desire of getting a new watch! A nice looking Citizen does not cost much with controlled time/date/Eco-Drive from$350. I'm getting the time from Germany that is covering the southern half of Sweden. Good luck with your watches! That "Great Wave" dial is great for the Casioak. I like the bull head chrono and have been watching prices on Citizen quartz varieties for a while. Your basket has the most interesting choices for sure. I think my gf will like the tourbillion, so that may allow me to pick up either the Pagani chrono or the Sugess bull head. Good specials are definitely to be had. The Seestern/Sugess 62mas are good options too.
Wow! This was a great Ali Express Top Ten video, maybe the best yet. You presented a varied assortment and all were just flat out great, even that tourbillion tempted me. But OMG! That Pagani Speedy! Awesome indeed. That knocked the silly Moon Swatch right out of the ring. It seems to have the looks, the size, the price, and the movement to make it work for me. Great vid, Jody. I’ve had my eye on that Berny compressor since it came out. I think Berny is a brand to watch. Their range is growing in leaps and bounds.
My Berny arrived today! I quite like it, but I did discover that the crown that controls the inner bi-directional bezel doesn't screw down, so I'll take that 200M rating with a grain of salt.
You know I have actually had a lot of trouble with the Chinese made auto movements. I have had two DG2813's, one which would stop randomly, and the other which was an absolute mess on the time grapher. I also have a 2824 clone which has a rotor that won't spin freely enough to be wound in a winder, and a seagull 2836 that sheared a little bit off the teeth of one of the time set gears, making the gear skip and rendering setting the time basically impossible. Four movements, all of them problematic. After the last one, I actually just bout a real ETA 2836 elabore for that watch project and, while expensive, works perfectly and keeps excellent time. Best of luck with your project Jody, I haven't tried a PT5000 yet.
The best bargain ever I got on watches is on Alixpress sale. A Burei field watch for 48 dollars. NH35, Hack and handwinds, 50 hour power reserve and all for 48 dollars. Cheaper than a Casio even for NH35 auto.

The Merkur movement is some version of a Chinese Standard Movement (Tongji), with some added decoration. There is a good chance it's actually a Shanghai 7120, custom decorated for Merkur.

I rather have Citizen, Casio or any other watch that always will show the exact time from a Atomic watch. My largest weakness is a watch with blue mother of pearl dial
The Pagani Design Moonwatch V3 is a great piece. The finally got it right on the third try. I actually have that Merkur Decompression one. It definitely a marmite kind of watch... You'll either love or hate it. I personally really like it though. It's a great watch for the summer with all those colours on the dial. That bullhead one looks pretty interesting. I've not seen that one before. I've got my eye on that Sugess as well. I've already got a few Sugess watches and none of them have disappointed, so I'm sure this one will be great too.
I've got a black Berny Compressor and I love it. That "chunky" rubber strap is soft and flexible. I have no desire to replace it. "Watching James" convinced me to buy it and he has my thanks. ( You have sold me many watches Jody. 😃)

Jody, Some of the comments on the sale page of the "PT5000" indicate that that movement is not an actual PT5000. Also the fact that they have removed pics of an actual PT5000 and changed the verbage, also indicates that there may have been some "misguidance" on the sellers part and this is in fact a clone of a clone. I have one on the way though and perhaps when yours arrives you can put it on the time-grapher to confirm the beat rate and authenticity / quality

I got one of the finest from Pagani Design, with a screwed in crown, and another for rotation of the inside of the chronograph ring. Pagani makes sports cars in Italy and the watches was very beautiful and stylish (even the back). But it seems like they left the factory in China and new watches turned up from China almost everyone looked like a Rolex-copy, and I actually told them to make their own design. Amazon are selling Pagani and PAGRNE DESIGN ( ! ) but no one got the good design as before. Information about Pagani is from Wikipedia

Its a 36 i think. To see what tools you need, Just look for any mod video which replaces a 2824 movement in a watch.

I’ve got the cooper submaster version of that QM milspec watch, it’s fantastic, one of my favorites in my collection for sure!
I've got a black Berny Compressor and I love it. That "chunky" rubber strap is soft and flexible. I have no desire to replace it. "Watching James" convinced me to buy it and he has my thanks. ( You have sold me many watches Jody. 😃)

Some of the comments on the sale page of the "PT5000" indicate that that movement is not an actual PT5000. Also the fact that they have removed pics of an actual PT5000 and changed the verbage, also indicates that there may have been some "misguidance" on the sellers part and this is in fact a clone of a clone.
I have one on the way though and perhaps when yours arrives you can put it on the time-grapher to confirm the beat rate and authenticity / quality

The 2824 Titoni is gone already. I’m not sure if the dial feet or stem are in the same location in 2783 so I don’t know if you could drop in a 2824

I would love to know if the PT5000 you receive is as-per the photos, some of the other ads at the same price had the same photos but with the odd photos of a sub-standard 21600 version of the 2824 thrown in there..
not looking to put you off but sometimes what arrives is different to the expectation. Otherwise it’s a cracking deal! Would love to see a follow up on the Titoni project.

I wound up getting 2 count 'em 2 Berny watches. I couldn't decide between the white and the yellow, so I got them both and it was a great deal.
Love, LOVE that yellow dial BERNY. $102 AUD is an absolute steal. Though it does look more mustard then yellow, I buy it anyway.

I got one of the finest from Pagani Design, with a screwed in crown, and another for rotation of the inside of the chronograph ring.
Pagani makes sports cars in Italy and the watches was very beautiful and stylish (even the back).
But it seems like they left the factory in China and new watches turned up from China almost everyone looked like a Rolex-copy, and I actually told them to make their own design.
Amazon are selling Pagani and PAGRNE DESIGN ( ! ) but no one got the good design as before.

Already have the only thing jumping out at me from this list, the V3 Speedy. Just an Aliexpress stores comment, I hate that they jack up the prices in order to "reduce" them for the sale. Ive been watching a few watches for awhile and that happened with all of them.
