What gifts are YOU most excited for your kids to open up this Christmas?
I just KNOW this lady is a great mom
I LOVE the froggie dissection lab! My 5 year old would love that. Thanks for all the great ideas!
I am so excited about the frog dissection plush--I think that's such a creative product and a memorable gift! :)
Wonderful picks! ❤
I am so looking forward to their gifts! :)
My husband got into Star Wars legos around the same age. He’s in his mid 30s now and has them displayed in his home office (including a giant millennium falcon). I’m also getting him a new set for Christmas 😂
My dad has a large Lego R2D2 on display--I know this is definitely an interest that may last for years (or possibly decades...). ha!
That dissection frog is amazing 😅
i'm so excited about that find!
OMG! That Lego Star Wars Choose Your Path is in my cart, thank you for sharing! My son is going to love that.
I think he's going to have so much fun and be motivated to read the different adventure options.
For my grandchildren I am excited to get the ones old enough Lego sets. I try to get each of my grandchildren a book or dvd or video game, also a toy from their wish list, an outfit and then random items I know they will enjoy. I do try to get an activity set of some sort.
I love the variety! That is so fun.
We are gifting our son a yoto player.
That felt book is adorable!
That yoto player sounds fun! I am SO excited about the felt busy book--brings back all the nostalgia for me and I think even my older boys will want to play with it.
We got our kids (5&4) a yoto player this summer and it was a huge miss. They have zero interest. Maybe theyre too young??
I love watching these gift videos on YT. The hotwheels calendar is cute. Love the busy books. ❤
I am so excited about that busy book! I literally remember playing with a similar type of felt book when I was a kid.
What a fun, beautiful Christmas! Thanks for sharing. I love how well you know your littles. They will be so surprised a d blessed.
Thank you so much! I am so excited for them to receive their gifts--I love getting to see them grow and gain new interests each year.
We've done Advent calendars on & off but not really tried the "toy" versions before. Well this year we're doing Lego Advent Calendar for all 3 of my girls, ages 18, 16, and 12! I'm excited for something fun & different especially since my college girl will be home with us for the entire month of December 💕❤
Awww! That sounds so fun, and how nice you get to have your oldest at home for the holiday season.
I love seeing these kinds of videos. I really think the Lego star wars sets will be a big hit. Thanks for putting this together. And now I need to start thinking about Christmas shopping 😂 Rio thinks he is getting rollerblades. We'll see.
The 4 year old got roller skates last Christmas and has slowly been working on his skills throughout this year. Get the helmet and all the pads...they are needed.
My almost 7 year old daughter is getting her first Lego advent calendar. This is the first year in a while my son (9) is not getting a toy/lego advent calendar. He is getting a mineral/crystal advent calendar from a small business.
Oh, that sounds like a cool advent calendar for an older kid!
So how come the channel name is seven and all if you only have 3 kids?
ha--good question. The short answer is because TH-cam doesn't allow me to change the channel's name. Many years ago, this was a channel where my siblings and I made silly videos together--there were seven of us "in all." During the lockdowns of 2020, I started making videos and uploading them to this channel instead of making a new one...and gradually fell into making motherhood and homeschool videos. My siblings and my parents still show up in videos when they want to, we are a close family, but yes, I would have changed the channel name long ago if I were able to. For now, I just see it as our family 'internet nickname.' :) I figure one of these days TH-cam will change its settings and let me change the name.
Ha- I still don’t know how I feel about Lego advent calendars 🫤 but…quite a few years ago my sons were gifted one. Wow, what a hit! It was the first thing they did when they got up each morning. There were three boys so they alternated who started each year so that they got different doors to open each time. It was one of their favorite things for quite a few Decembers 🎄🎁
You're prepared! I've only started thinking of gifts.
When I was growing up we had a Playmobile advent calendar that was similar to this that we saved, packaged back up, and did again for several years running. I remember how much fun that was.
