Sorry for the camera at times, my phone's dying... Santa is bringing me a new one or should i say the profit from this car is 😂 ECU Repair: www.autotronics.co.uk/
@CurrusOfSalvage Hi. You don't have to spend anything to get the radio code all you have to do is download ford radio code generator to your phone then put the radio serial number in and it gives you the code for free. Or download any radio code generator that's free. I've personally used them, although not on a Ford, and they do work.
Glad you got it sorted , maybe it’s time to invest in a bit of auto diagnostics plenty of your you tube colleagues out there . Saves firing the parts cannon . Good luck with the next project
I know you are probably sick of the sight of it by now but these Mondeo's are amazing cars. Sad to think nothing like this will ever be made again. New cars are terrible.
@@jamesdavis8425 fully agree mate. I had a 2lt petrol Zetec Powershift one years ago which was actually the same colour as this one. It was a great car but I had to spend a grand to get the gearbox repaired and it stung too much lol
@@charliecoco2115 www.autotronics.co.uk/ Sorry, I just have pinned them really. Cheers for the heads up. When the diagnostics wouldn't link up, I thought it was the ECU like.
Mondeo's have a bad thing where the water gets into the passenger headlights and over time the water gets into the wiring and got back to the glove box compartment and where the ecu and other modules site and causes that fault, i always tell people to silicone the headlight where the wire are
Laser do a nice 1/2 inch drive 27mm shallow socket that fits the oil filter nicely. You also need a shallow 32mm socket for the fuel filter- if its the one at the rear axle. I think on some later face-lift models the fuel filter was where it should be - under the bonnet!

Nah it wasn't that mate, the fix is in the video though ;)
I bought a 27mm gas bottle spanner for the oil filter. It cost £3.
