This song is crazy to me. I’m a hardcore/metalcore/rock guy. I saw this collab with spiritbox, was incredibly surprised and listened. Didn’t like that too much, but listened to the original anyway. Outside of metal I listen to rap/hip hop and anything in between that exists as somebody expressing themselves fully. Holy fuck was I surprised to see somebody like Megan Thee Stallion put out something like this. It’s amazing
She has been through alot of controversy, the trial getting shot, and both her parents and grandmother passing away around the same time, in which she hadn't had time to grieve. The cobra part at the beginning was actually an anime reference for Oshiro (not sure of spelling), and the ending was an anime reference to anime where the boy has the symbol on his chest that the ground was symbolizing. Since it was a story, she has since started the healing process so if you watch and listen to the delivery, she is not sad when she speaks; I think the upbeat tempo. It is meant for her to tell the story and at the end realize who she is and that some people want to be her. Another thing in the box symbolizes being boxed in from the public eye. During the time of her depression and now with the shedding to a new person putting the past behind her people are still watching. I have watched it a million times and found things different and understand that the video is not sexual in any way. If you understand Megan and the person she is and what her brand is, it doesn't really bother me. This is the way that she felt comfortable telling her story. Good review.
The Rock remix with her favorite Metal Rock group Spirit Box is🔥🔥🔥🔥 she paid for the video because she's completely independent now💯her favorite Anime is the Naruto series and it was giving ode to the Sannin Lord Orichimoro he died and was reborn stronger from his summoning animal the Cobra and the spiral circles at the end are ode to the main character Naruto those are his family's clan bloodline symbols meaning determination and perseverance and becoming stronger against all odds and she loves Anime.
