It's only right for this to circle back to you. Was your video that inspired the whole thing. I've been using versions of these (there have probably been close to 100 iterations of schedules tested by now) for about 10 seasons. I have to say they are amazing. Obviously all of them are build around quickness. A guy in my intake spawned with 4 acc and 6 pace, now he has 16 and 17 respectively. Insane! Average pace of the senior team is almost 17 and acceleration over 15, plenty of players with 20 pace. Both of these attributes are top of the league in comparison, with one of the worst squads in the league - my best players have around 120ish PA so it works even in non-top leagues as long as the club is professional. For goalkeepers I use reactions focus and their reflexes, anticipation and concentration are also reaching very high numbers. I've also tried some other focuses for outfield players and you can get really good growth on those as well. Additionally they are incredibly simple to use. My main schedule has 3 sessions per week and it's really easy to fit them around matches while maintaining pretty good growth. I'd say main takeaways are: 1. growth per month/season seems to be somewhat capped based on professionalism and other factors, 2. you really don't need a lot of sessions to reach the cap, 3. one session on double intensity seems better than two sessions on normal. So you can keep the team fresh with lots of rest or recovery while throwing a few intense sessions per week and you won't be missing out on development.
You're only supposed to have double intensity for the two 'fittest' categories in the rest section of training. The other three need to be set to no training at all. You are risking an increased level injuries with this set up which will potentially undo the benefits of the schedule.
I believe the variable that impacted development in your second run through of the test from a start 4 CA was sub 10 development. Having less than 10 severely impacts development.
Damn, this must have taken so long to set up! I'm really intrigued by this - I'm gonna try popping my youth team on one of these schedules and see how it goes
Great vid. I have been using L5 in my youth team since I saw that video and it seems to work well. Have you ever done an experiment with GK’s and eccentricity? I avoid high eccentricity when buying a keeper because in my mind it leads to more goals from errors. Perhaps eccentric keepers do something positive that non-eccentric keepers don’t? More key passes or something?
Experiment idea - lock the 12-16 best real life managers (Pep, Klopp, etc.) for 30 years in the Belgian/Dutch/Portugese league, give them all tycoons and see who comes out on top in Thunderdome.
Go to the Training tab, then click Rest (its next to coaches). Then set the two hearts on the right to double intensity, and the three hearts from the left to No pitch or gym work.
Fascinating work work Jay. I'm sure Max would approve. 🙂 Unfortunately, for me these sort of findings kind of confirm a thought I have had for a long while; football manager is an ocean 10 miles wide and one inch deep. Its all smoke and mirrors.
Maybe this is what caused the general overall attribute spread on the end section as they didn’t have specific instructions of where to put all those ca points (as in tailoring the points into their specific position) interesting.

Im glad you started at the begining and not the end 👍
YES YES YES YES. My under 18's use these as well as loads of match practices and omg they love it so much.

Curious, I've seen this before but can't remember if players get a drop in other areas that aren't being trained, plus player unhappiness?
I did notice at 6:21 in the video that 3 Adelaide players were actually on half intensity rather than double. I don't know if it impacted the results.
Hmmm strange, maybe that was them coming back from injury? Good spot though 👌
I think that was just the physio recommendation.

Yes always avoid high eccentricity!
Been waiting for this!

Sorry if i missed it but what about the training intensity?
How do you set this up?

I've been using these for my U21 and the results are crazy, my academy is physical freaks
That's probably the secret- L5 for u-18s, and D6 for B team/u-21s, and then a crap ton of match focus and set pieces for senior team.
Thank you for my daily Jayhuahua fix. :)
Do you still train position and additional focus or just additional focus?
No position here just additional focus
Maybe this is what caused the general overall attribute spread on the end section as they didn’t have specific instructions of where to put all those ca points (as in tailoring the points into their specific position) interesting.
There wasn't a position on either sim
What's the name of the skin you're using and where can i get it?
Sas24 skin
@@jayhuahua Thank you for your response and I love your experiments❤
No problem, glad u enjoy. Something a bit different coming tomorrow... 👀
Anyone tested this on fm23?
25:53 WTF I didnt even knew a club could have -1 youth recruitment like what???
If anyone had these training schedules saved on fm they need to upload them to the workshop BABY
I have put them on my patreon on a free post buddy. Link in description 👍
So which one was the best?
I think D6 edged it but it was very close
@@jayhuahua Lovely stuff!
Congrats on the kid lad
