- The Ford Raptor already has a ton of performance but the folks at Hennessey have taken it to another level. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that is now pumping out 600HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the outside the VelociRaptor receives a custom lift, wheels, and bumpers just to name a few things. On the interior you will find all of the great things that have made the F-150 a top selling truck with a couple Hennessey touches. Is the Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 a Ford Raptor that's WORTH the COST?

Idk about that. They had no competition in the market so they weren’t pressed to show their hand in regards to all the amenities the could offer

Everything was going great until u mentioned the price. I was gonna lean toward this if it came in around $90,000. But for about $20,000 more than the TRX, it needs an interior to match. Still think the Raptor looks better on the outside 👌.

Beautiful truck!!! It’s simply gorgeous. 0-60 in 4 seconds for a vehicle that large is amazing. I’m not a truck guy but love everything about this one. The price will keep me away but thanks for bringing this to us Joe. 👍 Happy Veterans Day to your dad and all my fellow vets on Raiti’s rides.

I purchased my lead foot gray 2020 Ford Raptor last June and shipped it to Hennessey Performance 2 weeks later. The stock Raptor is pretty amazing. After a 30 day makeover, I received delivery of my VelociRaptor 600 OffRoad package. It has an aggressive look with a powerful, fun to drive 600 HP engine. The blow-off valve sounds sick. The Borla S-Type cat-back exhaust will let you sneak relatively quietly past all your neighbors homes, then bark like the meanest dog when you get into the gas. I prefer to drive it in the Sport mode all of the time, because the exhaust and shifting are more aggressive. The engine tune, large inter cooler, exhaust, wheels, lift, Fab Fours bumpers, Rigid lighting, Amp Research power running boards, Brembo Brakes, Hennessey wheels, and the 37” TOYO tires are all quality components installed on the VelociRaptor 600. This has been an amazing truck to drive. You get what you pay for in life. Thank you to Ford Performance and Hennessey Performance. Completely satisfied after almost 1 year of ownership.
My dad bought a black velociraptor 600 a year ago. Best looking truck out there, performance is good but not as advertised. On a non prepped surface, 0-60 will consistently clock in at about 4.8 seconds. We put the stock exhaust back on because the Borla was just a little too loud. Not worth the price tag but definitely a unique driving experience!
This will be quicker than a TRX because of the aluminum construction
This probably weighs one ton less than a TRX
The problem is 150 HP shouldn't cost twice a Raptor costs

Just traded in my 2017 Raptor for a white on black 2020 Velociraptor!! Wow!! Huge difference. From the Hennessy wheels to the start up sound. The Velociraptor gets so many head turns than my old stock Raptor!!!
JOE ~ the front bumper is brutal. so freaking nice. love it. it's dang tough. I agree - everything is aced exterior wise - except the lack of racing rear fog lights, if you're racing off road - trails or sand you would want the guys behind ya to know where you're at so they don't slam into you. lot's of dust, debris, etc. remember Chico- Stix? yummy. this is a great upgrade, the back seats look like a ton of room. enough power & performance. - tony

That is gawd-geous.. Still a huge Raptor fan, but that was before the TRX.. ya know, mopar. Doesn't matter since I can't afford either, and local streets are tight near me. Anything bigger than my Durango is annoying.. Good job, I enjoy the channel!

Hennessy is an overpriced aftermarket company that does great work. The truck is very nice.
you have to keep in mind they offer not only performance but as well as a warranty, you might be able to build a similar truck for less but the second you start throwing mods at it you toss the warranty in the trash
David c. Ford performance makes a tune, and performance parts for it, full warranty in tact for less money.... and Hennessey is NATORIOUS for not backing warranty

I love the Ford raptors I always wanted one. But when your talking about Jurassic park you have to give the respect to Jeep! That’s the original vehicle of the movie and the Jeep commercial that came out where they incorporated the movie that pretty much sold me lol so I bought a Jeep about 9 years ago now coming from a ram 1500 to a small 2 door wrangler wow what a major difference! However after owning it for that period of time I had no idea that there were actual clubs and events that people do for them in my local area. I did some research and I couldn’t find anything for the raptor 🤔 haha. Needless to say very good video even though I am a huge a Jeep fan, one day I will own a raptor for sure!

I don't like these high HP V6 Turbo engines. Don't pretend it's going to last like a V8.

But, I like the Ford designs and the rest of the truck. So if they just put a V8 in there, I'd consider it a win win.

Hennessey also tunes the Raptor with a V-8, the Velociraptor V-8 produces 758 HP, which is more than the TRX.
Well why Ford didn’t make it from factory like ram??? They knew the hellcat ram was coming out and they kept a little v6.

4:32 - those bolt heads are called a " bead lock" style wheel. I don't know if these are functional or not but if they are they clamp the bead of the tire allowing you to run very low pressure. That gives better traction in some terrain. Most are just for looks,just wanted to point that out.
