Great video. My favorite band and this song always hits home. Spent a month in Savannah for aircraft technician school away from my girlfriend and now wife. The lyrics so tell the story. Couldn't wait to get home to her
Father Knows!! Anything off Operation Mindcrime (Before Empire album-this song from) all Awesome!!!🤟🤟🤟Dual Solos on I don’t believe in Love,Breaking the Silence,Eyes of a Stranger!!! To name a few!!👍🤟🤟🤟
That was from their last great record (in my opinion). Curiosity and constant evolution were key factors in their creativity. Just compare this song with "Queen of the Reich", "Take Hold of the Flame", "Walk in the shadows" and "Suite Sister Mary". What a band. One of my favorites. Tasty instrumentations (love Scott Rockenfield's drumming) and, of course, the unbelievable talent of Geoff Tate.
This song comes from their Operation Mindcrime album which came out in 1990 but they original came out in the late 60's / early 70's & Poison we're not posers . They in their own right were a great band .
Actually, this song is from the Empire album. Jet City is a nod to their being from Seattle “the Jet City” with Boeing HQ there. The quality of the production and sound was pretty ground breaking.
Great video.

@@LC-qr1uu Thats sweet. Love is real
Chris DeGarmo s one of that era's most underrated guitarists. I saw them live in '89 and '91 then in '03 after Chris left and he sure was missed.

Operation: Mindcrime will forever be in my top 5 albums. Empire is good, but not as good. They are also one of best live bands I have seen.

In my opinion .. Promise land was their last great album.. It was really great live .
They were prog metal...big 3 along with Dream Theater and Fates Warning
Dream Theater was influenced by Queensryche.

You’re totally wrong !!This came out from the Album Empire , which came out in 1990.The band started in 1982.
