QT in the cave celebrating his birthday is SO cute! I love the way you did the gradients on the back horn thingys. I can’t think of what they are called. lol. It turned out great! I’m very curious about the paints now. Hmmmm. I should get some and try them out I guess.

Its such a good idea and its exciting to know someone with the means is making it happen or at least trying. The paints looks pretty nice
Aaww, I am aging myself here, but I just finished showing my kids a youtube video of an old tv show called Dumbo's Circus (no, not the Disney movie) where there are anamorphic characters and one of my favorite characters was an orangutan named Q.T! Qorn Tortilla is a spicysuarous! Good on him for getting that frosting ❤
I love the painting of Qorn Tortilla. I'm glad you tried out these paints, I'm super interested in a concept of recycled material for paint, and the opacity seems amazing.
I love this idea. Anything to keep things out of landfill is great. I like deco art paint. I will be looking out for this. I find the standard paints come sealed like that. But wonder full video Also love the perm. Mine was similar hehe
The painting turned out so well i think the less bringt colors make it look more realiatic which works great for the more shaded style you were going for

Wow, totally gonna try these paints! The muted shades remind me of the stash of tube acrylic that was in our office for years and dated back to the 60s. I can still smell the Pan Am blue. One year my boss asked me to paint his grandkids a pumpkin, so I used the old paint to do a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman. Looking back, I probably should have asked how old the kids were first. I want him to see that you can have fun and enjoy the process and not worry about the end result so thank you!
Love to see a fellow crafting mommy on here i got 2 daughters and they are the main push that got me back into art seeing their interest but Ms Rose here has really taught me alot about just being happy with your work anyway it comes out Ecspecially the sketchbook i was so afraid of ruining books but but between her a 1 other i watch they taught me keep on pushing no matter what abd you will see growth....Happy arting and dont give up love the ugly sketchbook idea too....
Man Rose, I can't even paint. Or draw for that matter. I think EVERYTHING you do is beyond amazing! QT is so damn cute. The colors look excellent to my unartistic eye. I have no clue about light or saturation. And I'd feel lucky to look at him all the time! I'm under the impression that if it looks pretty, it IS pretty. You really are a good artist. You have my permission to own it. 😂
Very cute painting and I’m very curious about that paint now too! I remember my art teacher in high school recommending another student he could buy home/wall paint if he wanted to save on buying paint in bulk for the specific work he was doing. Always wondered if that was viable or not.

My pets like to test my paints by shoving their whiskers in the paint before I can move them. My black cat had forest green whiskers and spots on his fur for a while. He seemed proud of himself.
Hi Rose that was Great & QT. Is wonderful. I don't think it matters so much about the arm & leg, I still get things wrong at 40 it's whatever you are happy with & not trashing things like I did when I was younger. Thank you. 😊
I really love that you tried these paints. I haven't seen them before and they seem like a cool things to use. 🙂 I can't move on from an area I don't like. I have to try and fix it straight away, even though that creates a huge mess with the wet paint. I'm too impatient to let it dry before fixing 🤣

9:42 Do you tend to have sensitivities to smells? For instance, perfumes, lotions, oil plig-ins, etc. can make me sick for days sometimes, depending on the kind. Do those kind of things tend to bother you? If not, I can see how this paint could be okay for you to use, but maybe not for me. Ao just curious.
I have a very sensitive sniffer, in that I notice smells other people don't; mildew, smoke, etc. They annoy me but don't necessarily make me sick. Smoke will give me a headache. Someone else walked thru the room when I was painting and I asked if they could smell anything and they couldn't so, there's that at least.

Hello, another great video I really enjoyed. Leaving this here for maybe some bird owners to see, does anyone know are these safe to use around birds. What I mean is of course well ventilated area, birds not around while painting, but go in the room after the painting and airing the room out a bit? I see non toxic label on product details but no info about VOCs, and if this is reclaimed house paint it might have high VOCs without being toxic.

Yeah, I'm not sure. Someone else mentioned VOCs so I'm not sure if it'd need to be really well ventilated.

does low saturation mean it's matte?
It means the color isn't as bright. Its more dull. Like a bright apple green is more saturated than a moss green. 🙂
