Wow, those are some big chunks of wood you’re taking off! I don’t know if it’s your sharp knife or the type of wood you’re using. Great project. Thanks for sharing 😎
Learning how to keep your knife extremely sharp is most important. All carving practice will help; for example: carving a stick or carving your name in a board. If you can carve an egg out of a board then that is a great shape to start many other whittles. My easiest egg whittle is probably the penguin. Be patient with yourself and keep trying.
enjoyed this very much as I do all your videos. would love to see a video on how u you keep those knives so sharp.
Thanks, will do.
Really enjoyed this video, got something new I'm gonna try. 😊
Thank you for the positive feedback. Each day brings new challenges.
I like him ..simple and unique for a afternoon project ..Thank you for sharing
Thank you Gene. That is what I was hoping for.
What a cute ghost. I look forward to whittling a couple. ❤
Thank you. I would love to see how they come out.
I love these. I have carved a bunch from any wood laying around. No such thing as scrap if you carve, just chips
That is the best news that I've heard in a while. Thank you for the kind feedback.
Love these kind of videos. Trying to get into whittling myself
Keep practicing, and be patient with yourself. You'll slowly get better.

Thank you for the kind comment. Yes, the knife is sharp, and the wood is softer basswood. I hope that you enjoy carving one yourself.
Nice
Thank you kindly.
How long have you been whittling for? I'm not really sure where to start- maybe a beginners series would be great 😁
