I saw another comment and your answer to the question that came to mind for me. I'm glad you'll be able to complete this model because I'm really enjoying watching you build it. This car is from Formula Ones golden era before the rules and politics ruined it.
I wanted to do the Senna McLaren car from Deagostini a couple years ago. I had the opportunity to get a full kit of it and didn't do it and i'm kicking myself for it now. I really like the way this Lotus looks, though!
That red light should flash when in use: it's not a brake light but a safety one that lights up when the visibility is low (because of rain or fog) or, in recent times, when the energy recovery system (the system that recovers energy from the car when it's braking, now always present on electric cars but also use on recent F1 cars to harvest electric energy for the onboard systems) is on.
It wouldn't flash on a 1985 car. I think the flashing rain lights came in somewhere around the early 2000s, it was certainly a steady red light back in the '90s. You can clearly see the lights are steady at the infamous '98 Belgian race.
Wayne, this car is looking fantastic. It's going together nicely. I was wondering if one of the companies would be willing to make a model of the Parnelli Jones indy 500 turbine car that he ran at the Indy 500 years ago. I think that would be a pretty cool car to build. What do you think?
Absolutely zero chance. Supply and demand. 99% of people don't even know what you are going on about and then 99% of the 1% won't want it. It has no demand almost zero demand.
Hi Wayne, loved watching this. Same question as another viewer, where do you put them all? lol. I am going to struggle for somewhere to put the motorbike I am building 😊. Was wondering what video equipment you use, as well as I am struggling with getting the right cameras for my channel. Looks amazing ❤
Hi ya Wayne... I know you did this a few days ago but i was dealing with my cancer... Anyhow remember that the diels don't go in like 7-5 like regular diels... Their suppose to go vertical so that when the car is at high revs the driver can see it's redline at the top of the diels...look closely at the instructions for placement...best regards always...
@@WorldofWayneUK hi mate... yeah I figured you could just turn them not being glued in...lol Because the dashboard sits lower in the modern Formula 1 cars because of the high incline of the dashboard and safety cage they do it this way... Pretty cool 😎 actually...lol Best regards mate...
"The product is no longer available, but you may be interested in this new collection". So when it's no longer available, does that mean current subscribers are left out in the cold and don't receive the rest of the packs to complete the model?
Warning I subscribed for the 1/8 GT40. I received 14 months of subscriptions then they stopped arriving but I was still charged. I’ve reached out to DeAgostini several times over the past few months. Their response. They’re working on it. Still no resolution
Keep the faith deagostini have looked after me when i coukd,nt get hold of the last pack of the gt500 they came up with a suitable solution granted it took a while but patience is a virtue they will come good just keep on top of them

That’s going to be a beautiful model when completed I’m looking forward to this one.

Chia sẻ video rất hay chúc bạn ngày mới tốt đẹp 👍
If they came out with an early to mid 90's Williams F1 I would be all over it
hi wayne im the same not had pack for ages but i must admit this is a more enjoyable build than the agora 312 ferarri

They all go into my old Mancave. I'm actually going to be remodelling that to display them better so may get a room tour out soon
@@WorldofWayneUK 😆 that would be an interesting video. How many models do you have in total? 🤔
I've had regular shipments and am up to issue 31( doing engine) no longer available I think they just done a limited amount.
Great vid. Question, How much would it cost me to get this? And how would I be able to get it?

Wayne, are you going to blacken those screws? If so, how will you do that? They are not to scale and they look odd.
Not yet. I have a lot of work to do after it's complete with decals etc so we'll look then
Where you Buy the sticher with the JPS logos and JPS phrase? I'm interested to buy. Thanks
It comes with the build
Any sign of the elusive pack 6 yet?
Nope
As of today the 25th this is no longer available as far as in the USA. I was just able to get one before it sold out
Have you had anymore issues of this come through. I know your a very busy builder these days.
Yep. Still waiting for Pack 6 and they just sent Pack 9
Hi Wayne, are you going to be picking this one up again soon?
Yes. Apparentlynthe missing Pack 6 is on the way
How long does the full car take to make? I saw it had 110 stages,
Does that mean it will take 9 years?
Nooo. About 2 years
Ahhh okay, so they send stages more than once a month?
@@youngxlos they send about5 stages per pack per month
So at $15 per stage the subscription is really $75+ per month they don’t make it clear on their site I really wanted to get this
@@youngxlos yep all of these models are around that sort of price
"The product is no longer available, but you may be interested in this new collection". So when it's no longer available, does that mean current subscribers are left out in the cold and don't receive the rest of the packs to complete the model?
No. Only for new subscribers
I have regular shipments no problem at all.
Is there another way of getting it ? Frustratingly I still get the advert for it.
@@craigrobertson7938 not at the moment but I would be surprised if we don't see this again very soon
Still haven't received my first issue yet in USA and it's been almost 4 months....anyone from US having this issue?
Hi Wayne, you are 5 issues in front of me I am at issue 16 so hopefully it will come quicker there was a delay in the build
How many stages are total? 🤔 it’s a lot of money 😥
Not sure on this one
The product is no longer available
What’s the total cost for this?
Most models come in around £1200

My old man cave
@@WorldofWayneUK You should make videos to show us the fate of those models once in a while...
Wayne è un po che non vedo video sulla lotus come mai.....quando ti arrivano i nuovi numeri grazie
I'm hoping too. Haven't received anything for 5 months now
Ah ok grazie wayne per la risposta.......comunque ti arriveranno
I am so glad I ordered this and cancelled the Pocher Lotus.
Yes at something like 3 x the price!
