  • Ever wonder how durable your new Redmi Note 3 is? Is it possible to bend with your hands? Will it bend in your pocket? or scratch in your purse? How long will the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 last with every day abuse? My tests find out what these phones are really made of, and what you need to look out for as a potential owner of this device.
Ive tested over 30 phones now: • 2016 Smart Phone Durab... with plenty of phones to draw reference form.

As someone who has bought multiple Xiaomi phones, watching these videos is a brutal experience, but it's important that someone do these tests, and I'm glad to see them done objectively. I think the take-away from this is that Xiaomi phones (and all phones, really) should be handled with at least a reasonable amount of care. Putting them in your back pocket and sitting on them is a bad idea!

People are missing the point of Xiaomi phones here.
People buy Xiaomi phones for the specs and the design. to deliver on that front, Xiaomi HAS to make compromises, and build quality and materials are probably the victims here.
However, if you buy another phone at the same price (for example Samsung, LG phones) would they be as fast or as good looking as the Xiaomi phone? They may be more durable, but they have horrible specs compared to what you can buy from Xiaomi at that price.
Buying a budget phone is picking compromises that you can deal with. Think about what you would want most in your smartphone.
p/s: You can fix a bendable phone with a sturdy case but you can't fix a slow phone with one.

And this is why Xiaomi is for true entusiasts. If you are a tard that wants to bend his phone.... wait for samsung shitsalami bendable screen gimmick.
Those of us that respect the "under the hood' quality of Xiaomi, care about the phone. And of the most part, the scratch tests are the most usefull. Finget scanner works fine. Screen rebounds the flame dmg. Cam is protected.
You wont fucking bend ur phone to break it.

I ordered my redmi note 3 in 2016 and I was abit skeptical about it but it just turned out to be an amazing smartphone for me. It even after 3 years of purchase handles day to day usage quite nicely even in 2019. This smartphone has made me realize that no matter what any company says, you should not buy smartphone every year. Maybe two years later there is significant improvement in technology.
Redmi Note 3 definitely has had some problems though, it's battery swelled up, the famous headphone jack and the Bluetooth headset problem and after updates of course the battery drainage which reduced the screen on time to just 4 hours. But my phone has sustained alot of drops and still works which is my favorite thing about this phone.
But overall i have completely been satisfied with Redmi note 3 and now i will move on to the next Xiaomi smartphone which is the Poco F1. Redmi note 3 has put a high benchmark for the Poco F1 and my expectations are high from the phone.
So this is my last thread. Hope you guys have a great day.

No matter what the test results here are, always bear in mind that this phone costs less than 200 dollars, and puts out performance like "premium" phones for double that price and more. Believe it or not I went from an S7 Edge to this phone. Why? Two weeks after purchasing the Edge I got screen problems. The Samsung service center judging by photos (?!) sent from my regional center to another one (in the capital city), said that this does not fall under warranty, and they asked for half the price of the phone to fix. I had the phone in the original case, with a screen protector as well, never ever dropped it or sat on it. In those two weeks I used it mainly for talking and e-mails. So after all of this I decided to never ever buy a Samsung product again, as well so to never spend that much money on a phone again. I don't intend to make professional photos on my phone (and none of them really can), I'm not an audiophile that listens to music everyday with expensive headphones, I dont' play music from it's external speaker on parties or whatever, I don't care about Antutu numbers, I don't game on my phone for several hours a day etc. I need to call/receive calls, surf the web, use WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, occasionally take pictures with my phone that I will look at on my phone screen and maybe post on Instagram, sometimes kill time with a game or two, and most importantly I want the phone's battery to last the whole day. That's it. For 160 dollars (in my country) this phone gives me all of the above. With no lags, no connectivity problems, no nothing. Definitely recommend it!

premium as in the brands u dimwit if i can buy a 800 dollar samsung galaxy s8 and the 250 dollar xiaomi is over 1/3 the speed i can just buy 3 of em incase one breaks or maybe 3 years later buy a newer xiaomi phone with 2/3 the s8 performance and then buy a xiaomi phone which is faster than the s8 so stop defending samsung or apple becus at this point its just getting ridiculous how ppl try and find something on xiaomi saying it isnt even near this premium phone which costs over 3x as mutch
