You missed another pretty bizarre part of the tour - when he said that his experience with all his real estate developments helped him learn about sustainability and those lessons on sustainability are now implemented into “the one” property. He then goes on to point to the 8 fake flower bouquets in the foyer and according to him, those 8 fake flower bouquets make this property a “truly sustainable” home. ... what?... so you’re telling me that a 105,000sqft property sprawled across 5 acres is “truly sustainable” because of 8 fake flower bouquets? ... what...?

We live north of this property - a couple miles away and no we do not want events here. And our home is small under 2K sq feet. We have lived here for 20 years and we are stewards of the Santa Monica Mtns. We have a wildlife habitat. Unfortunately too many people like Nile are buying here.
The wildlife has already been disturbed. He mowed down a bunch of native oaks and toyons to build this monstrosity. Him and Hadid are all about money. They are selfish. We will fight this. We are already fighting any commercial development in the hills.

Saw the tours. The crazy rambling was eyebrow raising but there was another part I found disturbing. While exploring one of the many toilettes, he said he was going to put cameras and have live play in the gender opposite toilettes. I can’t help but wonder just how many cameras and in what rooms they are in because he must have hundreds all over the place. I am sure his neighbors are not going to appreciate the volume of guests and staff this place is going to accommodate.

he was just investing and building for 10-12 years just one house. Which now, he can't sell. Because it is just one house. If you divide 500 millions into 60, he could,ve made his money back, selling 60 houses , for 9 million each for example.
So, he fucked up. He was greedy. He said that people were complaining about stuff that they don't have in their houses, so he made This house, which has everything, so no one can complain about nothing.
So I think, the better crazy idea is to start building 60 houses at once in 2012 and build them all for 10 years, and prize each for 9 million and immediately start selling one by one - and you could make 540 million through the years , instead of building just one gigantic house that costs 500 million, and wait who knows how many years to find a buyer....

Best part of this tour was when he showed off the slave quarters and casually slipped in you "fit 4 to a room comfortably". If this guy really did have any "live-in staff" he'd probably "drown" in the first month.

I was impressed with how respectful Michael was. IIRC, he was the first of these influencers to get the interview and tour. Wonder if Michael realized what he was in for.
Default notices are nothing new for Niami. One for a debt of $10 million on a property and one for a debt of $23.4 million on a mansion.
He took out a $200,000 loan for a separate Bel-Air property and the real estate company sued him for failing to repay.
He tried to sell a West Hollywood home with a glass-bottomed pool and cryogenic chamber for $55 million but couldn’t find a buyer.
Late last year, he put the property into bankruptcy.
He reportedly defaulted on more than $165 million in loans used to finance this project.
The house also has more than $1 million in unpaid taxes and debts from construction companies.
This pile of cold, hollow UNFINISHED concrete is now facing a court ordered sale.
I just hope he doesn't commit suicide if he loses it all.

He talked about meeting the love of his life and had plans to marry after meeting her for a couple months, and that relationship seems like it's already broken. But he's adamant on getting her back. Then he's insanely in debt from this house. After getting no offers because no sane person (even if they were rich) is going to spend half a billion on this home, he starts getting delusions on "changing the world." A lot of the things he mentioned will not change the world, and imo, I think he's getting a bit crazy. He doesn't seem to be in the right mind, and I'm afraid for him.
his debt its at almost 200mll now bro....with all the interests......he put 11 years of his live building this, all his time, he had to sell all his other properties to cover interests..... and even if he can sell it he may be kucky if he gets even. I watched parts 1 and 2 of the tour and this guy is a little out of touch. The only sustainable items highlighted in the house are the flower arrangements. Pay no mind to the 42 toilets or the 6 elevators. There is nary a solar panel, nor a charging station of any kind in this place. It's quite spectacular and incredibly wasteful.
I just thought the same thing about Big Brother! Someone commented about him wanting to set up the cameras in the male bathroom and how they wouldn't be surprised if he has already installed hidden cameras in the bedrooms and it made me think of Big Brother! You thought it first though, I'm not patting myself on the back!

The main lender for this disastrous structure has now seized it for the unpaid debt of over $100 million. If they can unload it - which is dubious - they'll take a sizable loss. I really wonder how any company could ever think loaning money for such a preposterous scheme.

I think time has run out for this big dreamer and I think he knows it too. He’s on the precipice of financial ruin and a nervous breakdown. I just hope he doesn’t borrow money from people that he can’t pay back because I would hate to see other people lose their money too. That would be so morally wrong of him. I was watching the tour of the 105 million dollar house and had to detour and wound up on your channel. Wow. I thought it was odd. The size of the home is so over the top, it reminded me of a shopping center that mated with a Four Seasons Hotel and they had a baby.
Boxing on his lawn to do "God's Work?" WTF? 900 people get to go there to escape covid and watch boxing? That's supposed to change the world? YES, use the house as a venue. Or sell it to a Company and they can use it as part of their corporate offices. A well established Corporation or Non-Profit could easily benifit from that gorgeous home. I wish my corporation was large enough to occupy that building, it would be the best positive environment for employees. I applaud this gentleman's thinking, but he is too advanced for this country. This absurd structure is in a residential neighborhood. Commercial uses are prohibited. It cannot legally be used as a corporate headquarters.

Yes he comes across very full on. However we may need to consider that we should not judge others until we really know the whole story. As a nurse this guy does have a lot of classic signs he is going through a manic episode. He comes across as odd, but I think he is in crisis. During manic episodes people can come across as right tossers! So don’t judge until you do know for sure he isn’t well. The behaviours he is displaying are classic manic traits. The grandiose thinking, elevated ego, rapid speech, loads of energy, he was walking so fast that crew couldn’t keep up with him. He is having racing thoughts, getting off topic. It’s pretty sad. I can see a major depressive episode coming up for his. He gets emotional-quite a few times if you watch closely. !watch this space don’t be mean guys. I think he means well, and believes these ideas as he speaks them. I pray for him. I hope he has a trusted minder !

I admit that this mansion is stunning in its entirety. Mansion is just too small a word for this place. Niles does have a knack and talent to build these amazing houses, but I he got in over his head with this place. Its just too big. Its a venue. More like a hotel but secluded in its own. The business plan is just not there. I mean what was his plan before Covid, if his plan is to hold private boxing matches now that there is Covid. How was he going to generate money originally.... I think he had rich sheik that he was building for that just backed out. He mentioned all of his houses sell, and sell quickly. Yet, he had another one in foreclosure and now this one. He's so involved in what this could be that he lost sight of the point.
