@@AlexanderTheGreat1000 if you could control your Spanish gene spreading urges a bit you would easily be able to find that she is not spanish but Norwegian (Or swedish, I forgot, but) Viking roots all over.
You can still see that in her approach to Conquer all things videogamish.
The art style is so recognizable. Made me think of Howl's Moving Castle instantly.
Check out studio Ghibli .. it's kinda what Disney used to be, but japanese folklore influenced!

This review is the reason I bought the game. Living in Thailand I had to pay FULL price, which converts from Thai money to US dollars $80... games are VERY EXPENSIVE in this part of the world! Howeva, I'm 8 hrs in so far and I don't regret a single thing. Keep the content coming! Thank u.
Games are like that here in Norway too, way expensive! But it's worth it when a game is REALLY good 👍

This game is great. My buddy played this game 48hrs straight without realizing it. It was so addictive. Plus its Studio Ghibli!! How can you *NOT* love this game. Great review
Actually, the PS3 version isn’t the original version of the game. Before that, it was a Japan-only Nintendo DS game, and you needed the physicsl book to know which spell to draw on the touch-screen (hence their design). Combat is where the game has changed the most; it was originally a true turn-based RPG, and your characters (Oliver and your familiars) would be positioned on a 3 x 2 grid, if I remember correctly.
In any case, the Switch version does show that it’s a straight port from the PS3, as the compression is especially noticeable in docked mode, but playing it on the go (and the Ghibli visuals make it well worth it, though I still think it should have been a budget release (I got my copy recently, when Videogamesplus here in acanada had a sale a couple of weeks ago).
Yep. I am very spoiled by Dragon Quest XI on Switch with both the old 3DS version and a very decently looking Port of the Ps4 game.
Kind of got my hopes up for the Switch version of Ni No Kuni. Lol
The game is definitely a 10/10.

This is an encouraging overview! I only just bought Ni No Kuni and I’m playing it for the first time.
Some of the boss battles in this game are a little tricky but the story telling is amazing. Studio Ghibli did such an incredible job at giving life to this game especially at the cutscenes near the beginning.
Such a great classic now!

This was one of my first ps3 games, i had no ideia what it was about but boy did i love this game, i still play it sometimes, the game has so much story, stuff to do and its just and amazing and fun experience, the battles are challenging and you really feel like you are progressing towards something, it really is a 10/10

Wow I had no idea the game was this deep. Every other video I saw about it just painted the game as a sort of generic rpg but its definitely amazing. Thank you for doing this video I had no idea I was missing such a great deep game.

I just started playing this game on my PlayStation 5 today I have to admit the game is absolutely gorgeous and I am having a blast playing it. Level 5 just knows how to make incredible RPGs.

I love this game, one of my best rpgs ever and I have the wizards companion and everytime I need it I use that instead of the in game one.
Yes, it is a 10/10 i just started playing it, i cant believe this game was around for so long and still i never played it, i used to see it on literally every top 10 ps3 game lists back in the days, but somehow my taste was different back then. Amazing RPG, it's actually a timeless game, i can see people playing this game at any time.

Other "reviewers" don't have the mental capacity or sophistication to process a game like this. This is a gem.
One of the best reviews that I ever watched, great pacing, and touch-basing on all the essential points. This review itself made me jump the gun and buy the game. My first JRPG game ever that I will purchase. Some context I am from India where gaming isn't that big, whatever we have it is covered by some e-sports and single-player action-adventure so not much of RPG, JPRG, RTS, Strategy game (not that much demand, so it was hard to get hands-on this kind of stuff). I am burned out from platformer, big action-adventure AAA famous games. Trying something new here.
Currently I own PS4 so can anyone suggest the list of must-play RPG, A-RPG, J-RPG's from the last 2 generations (PS3 & pS4), I also own Switch to cover some backlog of these kind of titles as its the place where most of the re-master happens, I am planning to do Personna-5, Dragon Quest XI, Nino Kuni (1 & 2), Xenoblade, Fire emblem(maybe). I am software dev with a full-time job so not sure how I can carve the time out
I definitely recommend Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition ❤️👍 I'm playing it now, and I'm writing my review of it soon.

I got every single achievement in the game and have done everything there is to offer and I still miss the game and want more! The second game is good as well, but the first one hits different.

I actually an anime where the idea of this game was inspired from book in the 70's that made it into an anime in 2017. It's on Netflix. It's called Mary and the witch's flower.

I loved my time with Ni No Kuni on PS3, but I sadly never got to finish because my PS3 quit working! I'm thinking about getting it now on Switch since it's currently on sale on the US eShop! I've heard some people had problems with the way the game runs, with a lot of crashes and bugs. Did you experience any of those while playing? Anyway, great review! I LOOOOOOVE this game I saw my mom play it when I was 6 XD. I finally had the game myself and I still love it it's so emotional, surprising,fun and cute I love the fighting system and you have so much to do all the time. The game also takes a while and has beautiful animations from Ghibli. I give this game a 10/10
(The only bad things are that you can only play alone and the bots aren't that good...)

I’ve just started this game - I’m coming up to very serious life-changing surgery, and am facing roughly 1 month in hospital - and am hoping it will keep me entertained in hospital while recovering.
