Everything said for Godzilla is fine until you mentioned his durability and atomic breath. For his durability, he isn’t only able to survive nukes but he has survived an extinction event that involved a meteor hitting his head in the prequel comics along with enduring a 300 meter fall to Earth in KOTM. So even if the monsters in War of the Monsters were to try and nuke him, it wouldn’t only feed Godzilla, but also do nothing. Another thing is his only ability being his atomic breath. It’s his main weapon, yes, but Godzilla in the Monsterverse mainly uses brute force to take down his opponents. And since the monsters in this game are way shorter than Godzilla, they would barely be able to scratch him and Godzilla would easily tear most of them apart. Even with monsters like Kinecticlop and Magmo who are elemental beings, Godzilla would just be too big to take down and most of their attacks would literally just tickle Godzilla. The only advantage the monsters have is the fact that they can take down opponents larger than them and also how radiation is the thing that powers them up but even then, Godzilla’s atomic breath has killed Titans that absorb radiation so even if you were to bring up their monster’s radiation absorption, it wouldn’t matter. Also, base Godzilla in the later films like GXK has gotten even stronger and faster than before.
I feel like he downplayed the Monsterverse Godzilla in terms of his intelligence and amped GxK self who is stronger than his KOTM superhcarged nuke form but still less than his Nuclear form, also Godzilla fought Ghidorah and Shimo who are elemental kind of titans and he is also above Rodan. Godzilla also adapts in combat and is smarter than all the War of the Monsters kaiju, he would likely after sensing how powerful they are go and start absorbing radiation and killing the weakest kaijus he could find and absorb them to evolve to face them. But i agree that the War of the Monsters kaijus would blitz Godzilla since they can dodge light speed attacks, i still think he is more durable than them, there best chance is range against him, but since they are faster, it may work.
Did he also not factor in the size of Godzilla in the monsterverse? Cause there’s like an unbelievable size difference between them like the monsters from war of the monsters are like the size of Kong in the skull island movie and Kong at that size was like a dwarf compared to monsterverse Godzilla. If Godzilla is able to tank hits from kaiju of equal or larger size some of them like ghidorah having a heavy attack potency, I’m kind of skeptical on the war monsters being able to beat Godzilla unless it’s all together.

If you want something close that isn't the Godzilla Pipeworks trilogy, I HEAVILY reccomend the Ultraman Fighting Evolution series. Specifically FE3 and Rebirth, as their pretty much the best ones as introductioary and fun

War of the monsters and how they’re beaten ingame is that they are often beaten to death, using blunt force trauma from the other monsters, and you’re telling me that the monsterverse monsters can’t use “throw hands” strong enough to beat these smaller ones into submission? The war of the monsters monsters are small enough to climb the buildings that the other Titans are too big and often just moving around them causes them to collapse. However, I’m still interested in the video. I want to see more of it because I’m only 37 minutes in at the time of this comment. Don’t get me wrong. I love the game war of the monsters. I had it on PlayStation two and I got it again on PlayStation 4. Congar was always my goto monster because its sonic roar did absurd damage at close range in a short amount of time, a spear throw would always immobilize an enemy, and a dizzying blow would stun them again for a roar. This was my favorite combo during endurance battles when I needed battlepoints for unlockables.
Shimo is actually stronger than Godzilla, physically, she was able to ragdoll him, Godzilla only managed to stalemate due to his speed, also him being a better fighter but she almost froze him completely to being breakable until Mothra saved him, also you are right, in Godzilla Awakening the meteor didn't hit him, the impact did. I still think your downplaying Monsterverse since King Ghidorah in KOTM was stated to have fallen to Earth and survived impact and he can go Supercharged when absorbing electricty which amplifies his based form making him stronger or equal to Shimo, also Godzilla could order all his titans to help him fight the kaijus and also the Monsterverse kaiju are bigger than the War of Monsters ones by a lot. You are right that the War of the Monsters creatures are faster but i doubt they can compete physically, since if physically, Monsterverse titans would win against the War of the Monsters titans, also the titans have more fighting experience than the War of the monsters ones.

You’re making an assumption that the life force of Magmo is tied to the heat of the molten rock he’s made of. You’re also assuming he can’t just make himself hot again or counteract the freezing with the heat of his body. Too many unknown factors to say this is a viable strategy.

I would say crypto and Godzilla are both smart enough to use the resources of the WotM universe in a way that can give them the edge they need to win or get an edge to survive, as Godzilla can absorb the spaceship fuel to evolve like he did in GXK, and crypto could possibly weaponize the fuel in a way that makes his guns count if he doesn't just get mutated into a Kaiju himself.

To be fair the edf don’t really just have a “big gun solve issue” all the time, considering adaptability they would eventually make something to beat the monsters that would not be killed through extreme force. I think Rouga wasn't being fair and was mostly using onscreen feats for monsterverse while ignoring statements for it and giving statements and outside context for War of the Monsters, the things you said are true, the MUTO Prime one came from Aftershock comic and was confirmed b the writer one a tweet to be able to do multiple earthquakes with her punches, the GVK one you said is in the novelization and also was confirmed by Adam Wingard when he tweeted about it, since Kong and Ghidorah can dodge Godzilla's atomic breath, Godzilla can also react but it was still just barely dodge, so i think speed still goes to War of the Monsters, Godzilla's atomic breath can harm the kaijus since it was stated to nullify regeneration and slower it down, and he has fought elemental like titans like Ghidorah( lightning) and Shimo( ice), while managing to survive their attacks, and is above Rodan( fire) and Methusaleh( earth) in power, Godzilla still physically beats the War of the monsters kaijus and once he does, he would pin them and use his atomic breath to kill them off or overload them since his breath is higher than Hollow Earth energy, since in gameplay they can still be harmed by the objects, for durability, its Godzilla, he still survived against the impact of the meteor which is still impressive, MUTO Primes punches, survived Ghidorah's storms, also Godzilla has been stated by monarch multiple times to be unaffected by nukes, since if nukes could harm him, he would have been shown visual scars, the Oxygen destroyer in KOTM was the only exception due to it affecting his biology but he still survived it but got weakened by it, so he should beat the WOTM titans with his physical strength and also be able to use his atomic breath to finish them, i doubt they would team up since they hate each other, so Godzilla can fight all of them one by one. I agree that this still doesnt suggest plannet level but slightly downplayed none the less. Thirdly shimo froze greenland "in a couple hours" according to the novel. Greenland is about 1% to 1.2% the earth surface. Assumin shimo has infinite cold powers. (Iify i know) so she could freeze half the earth in 4 days.

And should he absorb their energy, wouldnt that give him a larger power up? I agree a lot with the vid, but I think it’s a little bit of a leap to say that all the monsters tank the blast. I’m assuming there is a story mode that you complete with every character(since I haven’t played) and the creators could have a canon ending in mind. I’m not saying that the monsters aren’t durable, but I think it’s just a gameplay feature that they don’t have the character take damage as you are going into a boss fight. If they can take damage from a truck being thrown at them it’s strange to scale the blast. I just think it was meant to look cool. You can say that, but what happens in the story is more important than what happens in gameplay. For instance, in gameplay.Magmo, the character made out of lava, can be hurt with fire. Kineticlops, the character made out of electricity, can be hurt with electricity. They have to do that for balance. Wouldn’t be fair if picking. Magmo made you immune to any heat related damage and he was the only character with that ability.

That’s a terrible way to measure it. In games projectiles have to move fast enough for the player to react. You can’t take the speed literally. No projectile in games travel at lightspeed despite there being many light based weapons.

Everything said for Godzilla is fine until you mentioned his durability and atomic breath. For his durability, he isn’t only able to survive nukes but he has survived an extinction event that involved a meteor hitting his head in the prequel comics along with enduring a 300 meter fall to Earth in KOTM. So even if the monsters in War of the Monsters were to try and nuke him, it wouldn’t only feed Godzilla, but also do nothing.
Another thing is his only ability being his atomic breath. It’s his main weapon, yes, but Godzilla in the Monsterverse mainly uses brute force to take down his opponents. And since the monsters in this game are way shorter than Godzilla, they would barely be able to scratch him and Godzilla would easily tear most of them apart. Even with monsters like Kinecticlop and Magmo who are elemental beings, Godzilla would just be too big to take down and most of their attacks would literally just tickle Godzilla.
The only advantage the monsters have is the fact that they can take down opponents larger than them and also how radiation is the thing that powers them up but even then, Godzilla’s atomic breath has killed Titans that absorb radiation so even if you were to bring up their monster’s radiation absorption, it wouldn’t matter.
Also, base Godzilla in the later films like GXK has gotten even stronger and faster than before.
I feel like he downplayed the Monsterverse Godzilla in terms of his intelligence and amped GxK self who is stronger than his KOTM superhcarged nuke form but still less than his Nuclear form, also Godzilla fought Ghidorah and Shimo who are elemental kind of titans and he is also above Rodan. Godzilla also adapts in combat and is smarter than all the War of the Monsters kaiju, he would likely after sensing how powerful they are go and start absorbing radiation and killing the weakest kaijus he could find and absorb them to evolve to face them. But i agree that the War of the Monsters kaijus would blitz Godzilla since they can dodge light speed attacks, i still think he is more durable than them, there best chance is range against him, but since they are faster, it may work.
Did he also not factor in the size of Godzilla in the monsterverse? Cause there’s like an unbelievable size difference between them like the monsters from war of the monsters are like the size of Kong in the skull island movie and Kong at that size was like a dwarf compared to monsterverse Godzilla. If Godzilla is able to tank hits from kaiju of equal or larger size some of them like ghidorah having a heavy attack potency, I’m kind of skeptical on the war monsters being able to beat Godzilla unless it’s all together.

War of the monsters and how they’re beaten ingame is that they are often beaten to death, using blunt force trauma from the other monsters, and you’re telling me that the monsterverse monsters can’t use “throw hands” strong enough to beat these smaller ones into submission?
The war of the monsters monsters are small enough to climb the buildings that the other Titans are too big and often just moving around them causes them to collapse.
However, I’m still interested in the video. I want to see more of it because I’m only 37 minutes in at the time of this comment.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the game war of the monsters. I had it on PlayStation two and I got it again on PlayStation 4. Congar was always my goto monster because its sonic roar did absurd damage at close range in a short amount of time, a spear throw would always immobilize an enemy, and a dizzying blow would stun them again for a roar.
This was my favorite combo during endurance battles when I needed battlepoints for unlockables.
Shimo is actually stronger than Godzilla, physically, she was able to ragdoll him, Godzilla only managed to stalemate due to his speed, also him being a better fighter but she almost froze him completely to being breakable until Mothra saved him, also you are right, in Godzilla Awakening the meteor didn't hit him, the impact did. Powerscalers do wank statements sometimes. I still think your downplaying Monsterverse since King Ghidorah in KOTM was stated to have fallen to Earth and survived impact and he can go Supercharged when absorbing electricty which amplifies his based form making him stronger or equal to Shimo, also Godzilla could order all his titans to help him fight the kaijus and also the Monsterverse kaiju are bigger than the War of Monsters ones by a lot. You are right that the War of the Monsters creatures are faster but i doubt they can compete physically, since if physically, Monsterverse titans would win against the War of the Monsters titans, also the titans have more fighting experience than the War of the monsters ones.

I would say crypto and Godzilla are both smart enough to use the resources of the WotM universe in a way that can give them the edge they need to win or get an edge to survive, as Godzilla can absorb the spaceship fuel to evolve like he did in GXK, and crypto could possibly weaponize the fuel in a way that makes his guns count if he doesn't just get mutated into a Kaiju himself.

1. i barely see anyone using that meta, but im pretty sure the novelizations for GXK (which are supposed to be based off the scripts iirc) confirm that shimo did it in a couple of hours, take this with a grain of salt though im not fully sure

regarding speed war of the monsters if we highball is lightspeed via the projectile argument you used, maybe barely FTL, Goji can react to kong, kong can react to goji's beam, goji's beam has statements of being a laser, goji's breath is also mostly relative in speed to mechagoji's breath which is called proton scream and with how it described and looks it appears to be a laser of some sort, so thats already lightspeed,
ghidorah also just straight up dodged the atomic breath and goji can react to him and keep up with him in fights so he would scale to it as well.
I think Rouga wasn't being fair and was mostly using onscreen feats for monsterverse while ignoring statements for it and giving statements and outside context for War of the Monsters, the things you said are true, the MUTO Prime one came from Aftershock comic and was confirmed b the writer one a tweet to be able to do multiple earthquakes with her punches, the GVK one you said is in the novelization and also was confirmed by Adam Wingard when he tweeted about it, since Kong and Ghidorah can dodge Godzilla's atomic breath, Godzilla can also react but it was still just barely dodge, so i think speed still goes to War of the Monsters, Godzilla's atomic breath can harm the kaijus since it was stated to nullify regeneration and slower it down, and he has fought elemental like titans like Ghidorah( lightning) and Shimo( ice), while managing to survive their attacks, and is above Rodan( fire) and Methusaleh( earth) in power, Godzilla still physically beats the War of the monsters kaijus and once he does, he would pin them and use his atomic breath to kill them off or overload them since his breath is higher than Hollow Earth energy, since in gameplay they can still be harmed by the objects, for durability, its Godzilla, he still survived against the impact of the meteor which is still impressive, MUTO Primes punches, survived Ghidorah's storms, also Godzilla has been stated by monarch multiple times to be unaffected by nukes, since if nukes could harm him, he would have been shown visual scars, the Oxygen destroyer in KOTM was the only exception due to it affecting his biology but he still survived it but got weakened by it, so he should beat the WOTM titans with his physical strength and also be able to use his atomic breath to finish them, i doubt they would team up since they hate each other, so Godzilla can fight all of them one by one. Your also right, the Hollow Earth portals that Kong tanked are close to black holes in the statements, close but not equal, still below but the pressure is high.

As for the hollow earth drill feat you downplayed it kind of by mentioning the hollow earth is revealed to actually be larger by the time of new empire. So he drilled even deeper. I agree that this still doesnt suggest plannet level but slightly downplayed none the less.
Thirdly shimo froze greenland "in a couple hours" according to the novel. Greenland is about 1% to 1.2% the earth surface. Assumin shimo has infinite cold powers. (Iify i know) so she could freeze half the earth in 4 days.

You state that Godzilla can absorb engery, but then say how is godzilla going to beat energy. Well by your words it would be by abosbing their energy. And should he absorb their energy, wouldnt that give him a larger power up? Also if he is vastly larger, simply stepping on them would incapciat them long enough for Big G to take their energy and evolve. Also there is Evolved Godzilla who is roughly x stronger than his regular power. And that one is stated to be permanent. WoM is dope, but I really dont think its a smash as you say it is.
Movies with scenes that are happening concurrently do get shown back to back. Is it three minutes? Probabaly not, but its not 20 minutes. At then end of the movie, yes it jumps scenes, but those scenes are happening directly at the same time or right after the other. THats how action scenes work my dude. Godzilla could survive. Even if you take away the feats. Godzilla does use that mothra explosion again in the next movie, its just not red, its blue again so probably weaker. Godzilla, through the movies shows extreme endurance. Chasing ghidora all over earth, fighting kong for an entire day while hunting down mecha g, chasing the mutos every where and beating both. -he can’t step on them because they are 1/3 his size. They’d be about up to his thigh and they are physically stronger. There are monsters in WotM that are just as big as Godzilla.

I kinda find it weird that you allowed the monster universe rules to over ride a lot of things. Like, in the monster world the energy kaiju are shows they can be punched to death, but you arbitrarily said "it's cause the other kaiju have some haki thing" with no proof. Other than that I really liked this video!

I agree a lot with the vid, but I think it’s a little bit of a leap to say that all the monsters tank the blast. I’m assuming there is a story mode that you complete with every character(since I haven’t played) and the creators could have a canon ending in mind. I’m not saying that the monsters aren’t durable, but I think it’s just a gameplay feature that they don’t have the character take damage as you are going into a boss fight. If they can take damage from a truck being thrown at them it’s strange to scale the blast. I just think it was meant to look cool. If it was me I’d scale them based on gameplay alone not the cutscenes, but you’re the creator so it’s up to you. I did enjoy the vid tho and I’m subbing. Hope you had a happy new year.
You can say that, but what happens in the story is more important than what happens in gameplay. For instance, in gameplay.Magmo, the character made out of lava, can be hurt with fire. Kineticlops, the character made out of electricity, can be hurt with electricity. They have to do that for balance. Wouldn’t be fair if picking. Magmo made you immune to any heat related damage and he was the only character with that ability.
That makes more sense I can see why you would take that in consideration.

Okay I honestly don’t know who said that but I’m gonna take a guess they screwed up on some info cause to my knowledge there’s two Godzillas that did survive an actual black hole, that being Godzilla from Godzilla vs megaguirus and Godzilla from I think dark horse comics that took a similar attack. That said that doesn’t make black hole level at least in terms out damage output, just makes him pretty damn tough. Monsterverse Godzilla though I definitely don’t see at that scale, at best probably small country if not lower, but he’s by no means just city scale cause that’s just a casual stroll for kaiju.

@tofboss8083 they tried to nuke Shin godzilla. It didn't work, the only reason he even is defeated at the end of Shin Godzilla was because they ran out of their time and expense budget. Shin Godzilla was literally supposed continue to evolve to a terrifying level.

@@rougarabid3 times their size is still 3 times their size, with how much he likes to step on bigger kaijus like Prime and KingG he'll probably try to. Plus, while they are strong, none of them can equal to MvGoji in strenght at all considering even just lifting a boulder slows them down while MvGoji has been shown to overpower or atleast match the strenght of KingG and Shimo

7:24 nah, "sonic" blasts in videogames rarely ever travel at the actual sleed of sound. Measure how fast they move in comparison to the buildings or something.
That’s a terrible way to measure it. In games projectiles have to move fast enough for the player to react. You can’t take the speed literally. No projectile in games travel at lightspeed despite there being many light based weapons.
