As a future player, is there any point to aspire to Ships of the Line (4th rate and above), especially when wanting to play without a clan? I gather than sunken ships are lost forever, so the vulnerability and risk appears to high.
When I was playing many moons ago, there were a lot of players who never sailed anything bigger than a Surprise. It just all depends on how you want to play the game. One word of advice though, this is a game where clans rule, so if you try to solo play in PvP, you are going to become the village bicycle, eeeeeeeeeveryone gets a ride. Solo play is best done in PvE IMHO.
Solo PvP is very possible in this game. But only if you know what you are doing, and to get there you need a clan. Thats because on your own it will take you forever to learn all you need to know about ships, tactics and to improve your player skills ;)
Hi there, I am new to the game, I was wondering what you meant by this comment? Did you mean broadside to the waves which would make the ship roll? Any direction would be useful here. Cheers.
@@ob1983 he means he's set his aim to converge on water or basically a point at the distance you are aiming, I'm assuming this guy would rather use parallel so the shots go out straight rather then converge together

Not that i know of
No. They just have a 24 hour cooldown after each redeem.
So that means DLC ships have unlimited durations once buyed??
@@pirategameztv9011 Yup. If you lose one, just check your redeem page in port. Premium ships can be redeemed at ANY port.
