I really do like that just like in Legends with the prequels, the comics are taking the less explored characters and fleshing them out even more. Especially learning about Qi'Ra and the Knights of Ren, and Ochi makes them better characters, and makes me feel like the newer films connect better with the other ones. It's too bad I don't typically buy comics, but just listening to these stories, and others like Darth Vader on Exegol, makes me happy!
It makes way more sense now that the Empire fell in a year after Endor. They were already on the brink of collapse! Crimson Dawn amplified the backstabbing that had been an integral part of the Imperial machine from the beginning (and that Palpatine encouraged, to make sure only the strongest will be at the top positions of his Empire). I'm sure some Imperials are using this as an excuse to kill their political rivals, whether or not they're Crimson Dawn agents. In a very Tolkien way (think Gollum destroying the ring by getting distracted and tripping and falling into Mount Doom) the dark side's worst traits are its undoing. It just goes to show you, a society built on selfishness and deceit will never last.
Darth Maul taught Qira what he knew and likely instructed her to use Crimson Dawn to cause chaos in the Empire and weaken the Sith's hold over the galaxy. Maul is tired and passed down his ideals and teachings to Qira.
I don’t get why they didn’t do anything with her character. I could see her being a great antagonist for a season 2 of The Book of Boba Fett. The Pykes were a part of Mauls Shadow Collective (which Crimson Dawn was a part of as well). I don’t get why they would introduce a previous girlfriend of Han Solo in live-action, and then finish her story in the comics. Most of the comics would’ve been great live-action shows.
Man we gotta get some Crimson Dawn involved in live action ASAP. Them and the Knights of Ren are so perfect in the comics but we get so little. It's honestly a crime
Grateful for this recap because, like War of the Bounty Hunters, I really can't afford to shell out so much to buy the other series that I'm not all too interested in. Only buying the Darth Vader comic at the moment. Admittedly it is pretty amusing to see the common and long-despised practices of the American comic book industry make its way into Star Wars comics as well: so many crossover events, endless tie-ins, etc. That all these major events have to happen between movies as well is also a little ridiculous because of the little time there is. If these major comic events happened post-ROTJ, like what this supposed Mando-Verse crossover will do, it'd be better.
I hate what the current canon comics have done with the royal guards. Ochi is an idiot vader fanboy yet he can just assassinate 10 guards in front of palpatine to prove a point. Goofy as hell
Anyone know if there is anywhere online that has all Star Wars comics novels etc either for free or cheap as I’m broke af so can’t buy all to read and learn everything
So disappointed in Marvel Comics customer service. They just stopped sending comics I was subscribed and paying for or would send them months after release. I finally just gave up an cancelled my subscriptions. I hate reading virtual comics so I guess I have to give up on this pillar of fandom. Sad. Thanks for the updates though.
I really hope emilia Clarke gets to play q'ira again
I agree
100% agree
Man I watched solo and I need a spin off series!!!!
@@isaiahjackson25 I know lando is getting his own show eventually but yea a lot of people want to see more of solo
Maybe in Lando!!

I hope to see Qi'Ra again, maybe even in the Mandoverse, if she survives...
I’ve been loving what Soule has been doing with the comics
Darth Maul taught Qira what he knew and likely instructed her to use Crimson Dawn to cause chaos in the Empire and weaken the Sith's hold over the galaxy. Maul is tired and passed down his ideals and teachings to Qira.
I was thinking exactly this as I watched the video. The way she stokes the fire to gain power is such a Maul thing to do
The comic have been dope. Really hope we see crimson Dawn in live-action
Other than what we saw in solo
4:51 Sounds like even Alex works for Qi'ra...
Await the reign
Need Qi'ra in live-action again, one of my favorites

I’ve been enjoying this comic storyline. Can’t wait to see hidden empire.
2:58 - That looks like one of the places Momin visited in his past.
It's the same place
Man we gotta get some Crimson Dawn involved in live action ASAP. Them and the Knights of Ren are so perfect in the comics but we get so little. It's honestly a crime
Madeline Sun post-transformation looks like the early concept art for Darth Maul, which is a nice touch in a Crimson Dawn story.
2:50 Kylo ren: YOU GUYS ROBBBEDDDD WHO!!!!!!!!!???????
0:58 I recognize that character next to Qi’ra from that mobile Star Wars game, I forgot what it’s called.
That's Imara Vex from Star Wars Hunters
A good recap and can not why for the hidden empire which song like a star wars legend title
What!! Definitely can’t wait to see palpatine give Kira what’s she got coming I love how mauls ambition lives through her
Qi'Ra is the new Tyber Zann
Trying to recruit yoda.
After the Orphan’s they fought the baseball fury and the Riffs.
He should’ve said await the reign at the end of the video
Oh kriff! I gotta read this. Just waiting for the trade. LLAP
Daily dose!
Thanks (and very well done, both you and Mollie, in the most recent BanthaVerse installment), Alex! 🔴

You can find some of the comics on TH-cam on the STAR WARS comics story TH-cam channel.
very much want a movie or tv show from the comic
I hope to see Emilia again. Did a quick fan casting for older Qi'Ra and landed on Emma Thompson
I thought that crimson dawn could have appear in book of boba fett has the main villain
Why is it that the Knights of Ren don't look any different then how they do thirty years later in the Kylo Ren comic
They are covered in armor! Only Cardo & Vicrul live to serve Kylo Ren.
I hate what the current canon comics have done with the royal guards. Ochi is an idiot vader fanboy yet he can just assassinate 10 guards in front of palpatine to prove a point. Goofy as hell
Is there a recap for hidden empire
And darth maul's involvement is barely touched on.
Cause he is dead at this point
Anyone know if there is anywhere online that has all Star Wars comics novels etc either for free or cheap as I’m broke af so can’t buy all to read and learn everything
Y'all I still don't understand, I thought this girl loved Han, why would she not free him? Other than yea Han can't be free because of R.O.T.J.
Qi'ra please I beg you let Cadeliah go
T'onga and her crew will likely rescue her
She wants to stay there.

My father always said, I should know with who I'll work with and I'm glad it wasn't the Crimson Dawn.
𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙢
Marvel unlimited sucks bruh It never updates wtf
I'm not really a fan of this. I like a few issues but I just don't care for Crimson Dawn's business.
how unfortunate
