I have watched this over a hundred times. I'm insane (positive compliment). Oh my god. I'm biting this. I am devouring it. I need to put it in my mouth and tear it to shreds with my teeth. This makes me feel feral with the amount of emotions it provokes in me.
This is honestly the best tgcf related work I‘ve seen and gosh I love the artwork!! It‘s so symbolic and tragic and beautiful and this is so wonderful. I will keep coming back to this video, I just know it. It‘s so special. I really love the Wu Ming and Calamity Xie Lian era and you went above and beyond capturing it, like a folktale! I especially loved the flower dripping blood… Wu Ming, above Xie Lian… aahhh and the way you drew Wu Ming‘s red eye so detailed and more „demonic“?? Gorgeous. I love this so much.

Но это... меня всегда цепляет то как разные люди интерпретируют данный период хуаляней. Что может лучше показать глубину любви чем единство героев в тяжелый жизненный период? Смотрю в который раз на повторе и не перестаю восхищаться: такая мягкая палитра, идеально подобранная песня, в самое сердце колющие иллюстрации (особенно лежащие на розах в крови); и в то же время страстные касания и поцелуй. Я большая поклонница почитать ангст и поесть стекла, но никогда бы не подумала, что такой же отклик способна вызвать песня, если хороший мастер приложит к ней правильный видеоряд. Думаю, при просмотре даже моё сердце бьётся в такт сердцам-розам из последнего кадра.
Это потрясающе, восхитительно, нежно, горячо, тревожно и чарующе. В твиттере увидела, что работа заняла три месяца - честно сказать, я думала, здесь потребовался год, ведь настолько сногсшибательная красота не может быть создана так быстро. Your interpretation is pretty close to what I wanted to do here. Basically it's a "what if xl and wm got to spend a bit more time together and had a more intimate relationship". All the rest of the events are still happening the same way they went in the books, it's just that the characters (and a viewer) are perceiving these events through the lense of nightmares 🥲
But I think everyone should be free to interpret this and other works in any way they like :)
@@weisserrauch972I do wish the Calamity arc had lasted a little longer, had Xie Lian grapple a little more closely with his desire to destroy, it felt like it was resolved a little too quickly in canon. I understand why for the plot, he couldn't unleash the curse. But he was also conveniently absolved of say, Lang Ying's death, or any bystanders. If he had actually killed his way into the palace, I think it would give the audience more to struggle with alongside him. I love this work! It fills in a few things left unsaid.
