another of my adventure churches tours going to toddmorden burnley road so i called at a beautifull little church cornholme st michaels all angels nice lovley little church with a small little sharp spire the church has 1 black gold clock face faceing the mainroad sides going towards burnley and toddmorden Halifax way its on the left hand side is the church only strikes the hours only sorry i couldnt get in to look around the church no sunday services at this church only opens wedsndays afternoons 2 till 3pm only some beautifull big country side rocks right above hope you like the church its a hidden tresure gem one churches and other hidden churches of the world by mr stuart mills bellringer spotter spotting his churches and hidden tresure churches what other people dont notice them like i do and same with 1 2 or 3 bell tower hung dead chimes or rings of 3 bells or unrigable bells which are no longer in use to anybody yes there are some 3 bell tower chimes you have got christ church Harrogate thats a 3 bell tower ring or chime of 3 bells only farnley tyas st lucias 5 bells played by a lighting up box where you turn the key on and light them up then press the buttons down then it makes the ottomatic hammers hit the sides huddersfield castlehill way pellon christ church 3 bells ellicombe chimed halifax way all saints ripley near ripon chime of 3 bells ground floor drax st peter st pauls church 5 bells ellicombe chimed ground floor kirkstall st stephens church leeds 8 bells ellicombe chimed lindley clock tower 4 bells only for the clock tower west yorks hunslet st marys leeds another chime and full circle ringing bells and extra 4 in the spire ellicombe chimed and also can ring all the 12 bells but none there now all gone to a new church another church leeds way 4 still in the spire just the tower standing all the church pulled down full circle for the 8 same bells then clock chimes garforth church st marys 4 bells hung ellicombe chiming near york way havent been used for years and years north street pavement street york with the lantern on top 3 hung dead chiming bells ellicombe chimed with the black gold 2 oppositte clock faces strikes the hours only st denys church york 3 bells unringable no accsess to ring maby by arrangements only all the church hung dead 3 or other bells i have visited in years as a have travled up and down the country
