Love the bench! It looks better in the guest room, you decorated so nice. You need to find an antique narrow table for behind your couch. I love that long table in the beginning of the first antique store you went to. Thanks for sharing, love your channel.
hi jenna. you do wonderful job, but the most appreciating part is that you do everything together with your husband, and Mike is very supporting as well
I loved the ride a long going to different places. I really love your style so now I'm in the process of changing a lot of my decor in my home as I watch your channel. I love going shopping with you.. Your number 1 fan!
Hi! Yesterday I decided to go to an antique store close to where I live and it was so fun. I bought the cutest rustic wood candlestick. I absolutely love it!! It was the only one, which made me happy as well because I probably will not see it all over social media. Thanks for teaching me about antique shopping!
Awe I love hearing this! I recently discovered antique/vintage shopping in the last year too and it is now my new favorite hobby 💕🤗 So glad you found something cute and special! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Great video, I appreciate that you take the time to search for things and that you seek out interesting places and take us along. I also like that you provide ideas for the treasures you find. Yes, please keep doing these types of videos.
That bench is gorgeous!! I totally get what you mean by wanting it in the living area so you can admire it haha but I like it much better in the guest bedroom - looks stunning in there + finishes off the look 💯
I absolutely love your video's! Love your decor. You have been a big help putting my house together. Keep up the great work. The bench looks better in the bedroom.
LOVING everything you bought! I saw so many gorgeous pieces during your shopping trip 😍 The stool looks gorgeous no matter where you decide to put it, but it was STUNNING in the guest bedroom with all the decor draped on it. Another great video Jenna!
Fyi on handed down information on the broom.. it was used to sleep up dirt, clay tile and marble floors in homes in places like the south of France and Italy... My grandmother had one for her clay tile and marble floors... At least that is what she told me when I asked her what it was... Also, she told me she made hers from the unblessed scrap palms leftover from palm Sunday in the Catholic church... Don't know if it's fact or folklore but that's what she told me... I lost her a long time ago but have fond memories of her and the stories she told me... She had some beautiful pieces which I now have and cherish.
Hi, I'm loving your antique trips and love your home decor style , would love to see more of these ,for more great decor ideas , I love finding old things like the aged vases and pots and old books...I live in the UK, and I've found a really good large antique store ...I can't resist going every couple of months...or when possible in these times of covid...
You're too cute. I drove almost 4 hrs each way for my puppy I purchased from a breeder 7 years ago, not sure if I would do it for a bench. I am glad you shared your adventure with us....fun video. Mike does deserve husband of the year. 🙂
I love these videos. You have helped me so much. I recently bought a home and I did not know how I should decorate it but your videos inspire me so much. Thank you
I think it would be pretty in your hall, near the front door. If I remember correctly, from the house tour, that hall would be perfect. Add a mirror above it...very pretty.
I never comment but I love your haul! You actually show where you place the decor at. I would put the bench in the bedroom and find a wooden table that has height behind the sofa.
I believe it's a old-timers rug beater, that was used when rugs were thrown over clotheslines outside ; then they washed and beat them down to get dirt and dust out of those antique oriental Rugs... Look into those History ,as that's where I'd seen it done . Raised Newport,Rhode Island & summered in Cape Cod & Boston,& Maine Areas... In studying History either Saw it done as a child... Remember my Nana, Outside with Rugs on clothes lines...beating them down on a sunny summers day after hosing them down with water and throwing suds from pails on them... to clean them In those days velvet curtains were washed in old time washing machines with those rollers they put them through to wring them out then they too were hung out to dry before putting them back up in the house... Every Hot Summer Day was used to wash up curtains, rugs, and spreads that went over Beds Different Times required different methods as when I was a Girl(76 now) washing machines were hand cracked... Also remember her churning butter and getting syrup from trees... When cooking they used real teaspoons and tea cups to measure... Then which now they have measuring cups... Just a little trivia for You... Like I Said, Life was so different then !!!!! Hope this HELPS You enjoy your antiques more as for stools they were normally made by hand back then and often left outside to sit on when Tired... my grandmother lived to be 105 and that women was amazing in everything she did and her cooking was Fantastic !!!!

It looks best in the guest bedroom BUT maybe you could put it under the window by the fireplace? Not sure if there is enough space there. I totally get how you want to be able to see it all the time. :)
OML cute stuff but those prices are definitely outrageous… 🤔 I don’t love the bench behind the sofa but I also think you should keep it where is visualized more. It’s gorgeous!

Likely the black spot inside that drawer was spilled ink for calligraphy or just writing letters
Your husband is cute. Thanks for sharing him with us. Oh, and your antiquey stuff is not bad either. 🤣
