The gourds are actually neck pumpkins and when fresh makes the best pumpkin pies... Very meaty and the seeds are delicious baked and sprinkled with salt and coarse black pepper before baking... You have excellent taste and style... Keep it coming... I so look forward to your trips, tips and diy's

You really got a ton of cute stuff. My favorites were the little stool, the smaller copper pot with lid, the round cutting board. What a great antique mall. We don't really have much in the way of that in WA state near where I live.
I’m from Pennsylvania and we too have great antiques and places just like this💯 but I’m terrible at home decorating so I’m hoping following you helps me although my style home I’m not sure is right for vintage, it’s a newer chalet. Now I can’t wait until next Sunday to go to the Antiques mall. & bonus there is a huge farmer’s market next door 👍 I stink at haggling even though my dad is a used car dealer you’d think but no🙄. Hi Jenna, your attraction to stools brought up an unhappy memory. I, too feel an attraction to a unique stool. On a trip to my parents years ago, I went looking for my late Grandfather’s carpenters stool. I was larger than most of yours, up I knew that with some TLC it would have a new life with me. A unique feature on it was a rectangular opening in the middle of it, just big enough to put your fingers through to carry it. I found out that my late brother had taken it, along with all the antique tools. Yes, my brother had passed away and a brief call to his wife resulted in being informed that she felt no obligation to return them to us. Oh, well. Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers.

Nope! Don’t clean my brass. LOVE the aged look too:) But if there is gunk…that has got to go 😜I always just accent with my brass pieces though. A table scape with greenery and brass candlesticks would totally have my ❤️. Just found you girl, and am totally diggin’ your channel. Keep it up 👍🏻

Loved the video. I love going to antique stores and I absolutely do NOT polish my brass or copper finds. I think it gives the pieces more character and kinda shows the age.
How fun! Yes I do polish the copper pots I get thrifting because I so love the shiny shimmer. They also tarnish pretty quickly! Great job on the candlesticks! So hard to find matched stick candlesticks ! I might shine a couple up just a littl for a bit of sparkle and leave the others. Love your videos, classic decor or a upscale theme which there is hardly any videos on 😊

Hello sweetness! Enjoyed everything as always!!!! I really want one of those stools! I love them! I love the patina of aged brass candlesticks also. I made the mistake of cleaning one that I had purchased one time...I ruined it!!! I was sick! It had the most beautiful bluish green patina....it never was as pretty after I cleaned it. So I only wash them with hot soapy water now.
Ohhhh smart! I will have to try the hot soapy water thing. Sorry about your candlestick! Not sure if it helps, but I have seen tutorials on how to age them with vinegar and salt on TH-cam? 🤷🏼♀️anyways thanks so much for watching and hope you have a great week 💕🥰
