I'm 67 and jog and walk about 1 hour almost everyday. I have attended three Band-Maid concerts this year (the fourth one will be in July), and I was nearly dead at the end from exhaustion. The moment at 6:32 where Miku screams "SAY" has gotten her teased a lot and on their last tour they were here on her birthday and everyone had towels with her screenshot and said SAY on it. She saw the love and the humor.
You are going to be exhausted before the show even starts . The Band Maid community in Dallas was very warm , and welcoming . Probably one of the nicest events I have going to in many years . My oldest son and myself were about 4 to 5 rows back on MISA's side . Her bass will cut right through you. The entire band is outstanding , and over the top funny . Opening song there was From Now On .
I am absolutely loving your BM reactions! I have to admit I am a little jealous your going to get to see them in August as they just are not coming close enough for me to make the trip. I did get to see them last year in Dallas and what a show! I have to say that the one thing that really stood out to me is how powerful Akane's drumming is live, it really caught me off guard! The other thing I have to mention is how emotionally impactful Kanami's solo in Daydreaming was, incredible stuff! You guys are going to have a great time!! 100% guaranteed!!! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂🕊
From what everyone has said people get a new appreciation of all of them. More than a few musicians have gone to nerd out over Kanami, Misa and Akane and get blown away by Saiki. Miku's boundless energy and sheer entertainment value gets some and Misa's absolute perfection just boggles some peoples minds. Let's face it , live they are all more than what everyone expects.

You can expect an almost 2 hour show with between 20-24 songs depending upon which ones are chosen. There also will be a different set list at each show in August. So far this year their shows have been 23 songs. Last year in the US they were 19 songs long but the last 5 shows were reduced to 17 and 15 for the final 2 which I suspect was due to Kanami's health issues. Their schedule this year looks well managed, each leg of the tour being in 9/10 show bursts with plenty of 'rest' inbetween. Hopefully you'll get a full show of around 20 or more songs.
the Maids are coming to the states in a couple of weeks... also dont forget The Day of Maid its 5-10 ...and the number of songs depends .. the last US tour they started with an 18 song set ..the last couple of shows they only did 16 songs but Kanami was ill during the last bit of the tour ... unfortunately they did not do any encores during the tour.. and yes there are gals and guys dressed as maids...
Yeah, start getting into shape now! You definitely will be hopping and waving for two hours. And a serious suggestion: wear good shoes. Consider taking some video while you're in line before the show and/or after the show, maybe interview some of your fans, and make a travelogue. Some of your fans would really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Well I hope you ordered the VIP tickets last year went to 3 shows showed up at the venue around 9 to 10am and was greeted by some awesome *BAND-MAID* fans and was given a number on my had usually get around position 20 but if you need to go to the restroom or get a bite to eat they hold your spot. But all 3 shows I was able to get a spot at the rail 😊 _(You will have an Awesome Time where ever you are)_
I'm going to be at the Detroit show May 24th and I too have a VIP ticket. If the concert starts at 7pm, how early do you recommend that I arrive there?
Love your reaction! Enjoy the concert. Just one little advice. Save enough energy for the real show. I was so hyped 2 times going Bandmaid concert but I could not jump later in the concert because I ran out of energy. Can't blame those girls lol.

"People in the audience dressed as maids!" is the correct phrasing. (They ain't all gonna be girls in costume, ya know). Don't expect the complex lighting rigs, staging and back screens that you see in the Japanese shows (I would expect that all of that would still break the North American tour budget). You'll just have to be content with the greatness of Band Maid (and that WILL satisfy you, RIGHT?).
