New lethal tempo needs some buffs i feel like but regardless i am going to use it for now in most of my games. Hail of blades is also optional into some ranged squishy matchups for more burst and one shot builds. At the moment i like to ban Camille, Jax or Renekton not because they are his biggest counters but because they are not just good against yi but also played alot and pretty strong right now. Also if they have Pantheon or Kennen you should avoid playing yi cuz those are his hardest matchups for top lane.
