    The only fish I could think of are 3-5 chili rasboras as they are miniscule, so long as the temperature is warm enough but seeing as your in florida I doubt thats a problem but shrimp and snails seem like great options too! Yeah now that I'm looking at the tank in more detail safer to go for shrimp as 3 chilis would not be enough for them too feel safe and the cube shape would not offer enough swimming room

    • @FrantikTv
      @FrantikTv 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn't really suggest those in a 2.6gal tank for chilli rasboras. They are a schooling fish, so they need to be kept in a group of 6 or more in a minimum of 10 gallons and need the available swimming space. Unfortunately, there are no fish that should be kept in anything under 5 gallons as it's not ethical to keep fish in anything small. Shrimp are a much better option for smaller tanks.

    • @T-Natrix
      @T-Natrix 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FrantikTv very true and honestly `I would not even keep any shrimp under 2.5 gallons as even the little guys need space I agree I have seen one person do it ok but it would certainly be better with shrimp as well as the tank being a cube shape instead of long and the chili's do need school so It would be too cramped

    • @FrantikTv
      @FrantikTv 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@T-Natrix Shrimp have a pretty low bioload as some small species of fish but even then shrimp would be fine in a 2.6 just not so much with fish. I personally would rather keep shrimp in larger tanks so they have a larger space to swim around in.

    • @T-Natrix
      @T-Natrix 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FrantikTv same here and thanks for correcting me about the chilli rasboras and its always best to go for bigger options if possible I think the only reason I said chilis rasboras was because of a channel called MD fish tanks who I really enjoy watching and his tank looked nice but it did look rather small and even tho I trust most things on his channel best to do your own reasurch

    • @FrantikTv
      @FrantikTv 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@T-Natrix MD Fish Tanks is okay for the most part on some of his tanks but his smaller tank builds are questionable and do require to be questioned about housing when it comes to small species of fish and doing research on said fish on their home environment in the wild and finding scientific bases to make sure the tank they're going into is justified.

I think you should get that, since it only gets about an inch long, and 2 inches fully extended. You could also get some neon tetras with your frog, since that’s what I have, and even a shrimp! I named my shrimp cherry since it’s a cherry shrimp, so that’s a cool name, and my frog peco, because in Italian, peco means small and it’s a dwarf frog! I really hope you enjoy whatever fish you end up getting……. I didn’t leave just yet. YOU MUST get a cooly loach, and name it noodle. They are soooooooooooo cuuuuuuute. We don’t talk about noodle nonono (my loach) 😢. I only said that because he was my favourite pet ever. Once he flopped out of the tank while I was changing the water, but he hid himself under my bed, and I never saw him until 3 days later dead. He was the best pet ever, and if he was still with us and if ever he did outgrow his tank, I would switch him into my 20 gallon tank. Rip noodle. What I think you should do in the tank: shadow panda shrimp, blue shrimp, black rose shrimp, and maybe some snowball shrimp. I think it would be nice to have a peaceful shrimp tank, in my opinion, shrimp are relaxing and fun to watch. I love your videos!

      Betta in a small tank? 🤨Bettas require 5 or more gallons of water. They often swim a lot so they need the space to be able to swim around and venture. Keeping fish in anything under 5 gallons would be considered unethical. Small tanks are just companies way of trying to make an easy sale on people that know nothing about fish to justify abuse to common fish in small tanks.
