- Mazzer's suite of grinders includes this big ol' bad boy, which features a stainless steel conical burr set. Watch Brandon take us through the features and specs, show off the burrs and then demonstrate the grind quality on this popular commercial grade grinder.

Great to hear! Glad we were of help. We're going to work through the rest of our Mazzer stock as well so stay tuned if you wanted to learn more about these commercial-end grinders. - Kat
Yes - this is true! Different coffees will clump at coarser levels than others, but clumping is always a great sign re: your grind setting. We'll play around with this more, definitely :) - Kat
Yup! We're supposed to get our demo in here in June-ish so expect a video June/July going over it. We carry every Baratza product we can get our hands on! :) - Kat
Thanks for sharing your experiences with this! :) - Kat
What an informative video! Most of the info I've found about the Kony (and robur, royal) come from know-it-all elitists who buy these to make 2 shots a week... people more interested in their gear than the beverage. Learned more in these 10 minutes than an hour of online browsing :)
Great as always!
Agreed. - Kat
I think the Mini is fine in a home kitchen ... maybe a SJ if you have a big enough situation. The rest of these would be best in a business I think :) - Kat
Is SCG going to carry the latest and greatest Baratza grinder that comes out in August? Its the one that can dose by weight and time in one grinder :)
How can I recalibrate a conical burr like this Kony?
Anyone can help the censor on my grinder stoped working
Those aren't clumps, you should see the nuggets that come out of my Mapcap M4D. The Mazzers look like they perform well, but I think they look out of place in a home kitchen.
Aren't certain beans also going to clump more (eg oily beans) even on the same grind settings? Kat - this needs investigating! ...and a tasting session to see if Brandon's adjust-grind-by-clumps theory holds water.
Actually, the conical crash and the flat slices
Joseph Kony brought me here.
Sry Brandon but that kat girl is extremely annoying. I couldn't watch the entire video, even though I was very interested in what you had to say.
Good luck
