I have an aftermarket MS250 cylinder that isn't threaded correctly I was wondering what size tap would I need to use for the OEM Self-Tapping Screw size D5.3x4 I really won't be using this saw much since I already have 4 other saws so I don't mind the cheap Chinese part
Oh neighbor I honestly do not know this off the top of my head. I should by now, but I just use my bolt measure kit to find the sizes I need when I'm tapping. I wish I could be a better help but that would mean searching the internet ( which I don't trust fully), or going through stuff in my shop that I can't move right now because my recent neck surgery. I thank you for watching!! Sorry it took so long to reply. I hope you have subscribed and turned on notifications so you don't miss out on new chainsaw and prize giveaways.
I’m having difficulties installing a two ring piston into an echo cs 620p chainsaw. The first ring goes into the casing but the second ring gets caught up on a wing once the compression tool clears. Do you have a trick to help me clear the wings or small cut outs at the base of the casing while installing the piston?

All I can say is try the small screwdriver trick, gently push the ring closed anywhere you can with it I'm not familiar with that particular saw
